A.N: Sorry it's a short chapter, it drained a lot of my energy writing this.
Last Time
he was already drifting around 'Zzz's.
With Saiki (Third-Person Limited)
Saiki once again plowed up the mountain to his class, but for once in his life, he was surprised by the fact that Kasasuma was waiting for Saiki at the top of the hill with arms crossed and thoughts mostly under the lines of 'Saiki hurry up', 'Saiki get moving,' and so on and so forth.
Saiki looked at Karasuma as he ushered the students into the building, "So," he started off as dramatically as usual as he starts a conversation. "I had a talk with the government about your training days or weeks off..." he began thinking ways to phrase it.
Saiki waited and tapped his foot in anticipation, his thoughts were too jumbled up with overlapping to Saiki it was like he was dealing with Tomura of elementary school all over again.
"Anyway..." he sighed, "Since you're still considered a danger to our society, it doesn't matter whose side you're on, we need you to wear this." Karasuma dug around his pockets until he reached a small necklace and took it out.
It was a shiny diamond and emerald necklace with a silver chain, though Saiki knew better than to know the green was emerald, it was really a small chip into the diamond. "If you're not here in the city or with us either teaching or assassinations or a mix of both we're making it a rule that you must wear this at all times,"
Saiki looked at the chain, and back at Karasuma. "So like a dog tag?" Saiki questioned, the necklace still in Karasuma's hand. "No--well, yes, if you want to think of it that way." he shrugged as he looked around to see if Lorvo or Jelavic was near him.
Saiki sighed, "You either take it or you don't go." Karasuma said, Saiki grunted and snatched the necklace out of his boss's hand and stuffed it into his pocket. "Saiki, you also have to wear it." Karasuma rolled his eyes, Saiki glared and threw it over his neck.
"Now, you are officially able to lea--" Saiki teleported out of the class E-3 and got himself back into his apartment, where shelves began opening and things went flying around the air. Suitcases opening and clothes folding, all while Saiki was typing on his phone reserving a hotel for a large span of three weeks.
Saiki also took the chance to call his grandmother who was in Sun Shine Retirement Home.
The phone once again buzzed with someone else on the line and not the young lady that was first there to greet him the day before.
"Hello," it was a deeper voice obviously a guy's this time.
"Hello, this is Saiki Kusuo, Kiyo Saiki's grandson can you--" an oof broke Saiki's wording as he could hear the phone drop into the grass.
"Oh thank you for calling again Kusuo," Kiyo smiled from the other line, another grunt proceeded, from who Saiki thought was the man on the line, multiple more grunts coming from him as Saiki only imagined was his grandmother's doing by stomping on him.
"As I think the western kids say; I yeeted him," Kiyo said as Saiki paused for a moment, "I'm not sure what that is, but I do ask you. Don't pick up on Western's traditions of speech." Saiki begged as he heard his grandma gasp.
"No worries Ku-Boy, your g-ma, will save you from any embarrassment caused by my yeets and dope swag full of ice, and I'm troll-less so go you Minecraft hackers," she said as Kusuo rubbed his eyes in embarrassment, "That's not what I mean--"
"I get it you boy, I'm old and while everyone else gets funky, with slay and tea, I'm here Gucci, and snatching everyone's weave, it's lit." she went on. Kusuo took off his green glasses and rubbed his eyes.
"Just...please stop..." he asked continuously.
Kiyo sighed "I get it I'm better at being lit than you," she said with a voice of real disappointment. "I don't think you're even saying it right, but I just came to call to say I'll be going to your retirement home and visiting you so--"
"You hear that boyz, I have someone that actually gives a shit about me. Take that Rodger, you owe me! You son of a bit--" Kiyo ignored her grandson. "I'll see you soon," Saiki quickly cut into her speech and hung up throwing the phone onto the bed.
That took more stress and energy than dealing with all the numbered nuisances together.
