Saiki (Limited)
Though Saiki's wanting the answer to his questions soon didn't matter anymore as Kaede soon muttered and gasped as she was now awake. She easily looked better than what she originally did as she laid on her friend's lap.
"What happened?" she muttered to Koro-Sensei who let out a sigh of relief, he even looked relieved even though he had the same face just with a few sweat marks and such.
"Ah, Kayano. Thank goodness," he worried about her.
"Are you...are you okay?" Nagisa asked as a tight lip smile reached onto Saiki.
'Please remember please remember!' he begged as she stared at him, and looked away not looking that flustered, Saiki cursed. "Mm-hmm," she hummed as the class sorrowfully looked down on her.
"So you're back?" Okano asked sorrowfully as she looked down on Kaede who looked better but with a great deal of emotional pain and trauma laid out in front of everyone, she didn't look anyone in the eyes but it was clear as day that she was embarrassed to show that horribly bloodthirsty side of herself.
"At first I was driven by bloodlust," she confessed looked down and practically refusing to meet eyes with anyone, "but;" she held a pause as she remembered the days she spent with Koro-Sensei and how great they truly were, "the more time I spent with Koro-Sensei, the less and less that had seemed to matter,"
Saiki rolled up to her to listen in as well as the other students all surrounded her lie a fly to a light trap, only this wasn't really a trap but more a confession, "I soon then started to think, 'what's his story?', what about him do I not know? Should I hold off on killing him till I get the whole picture?" she began to question herself.
Saiki exhaled, as he saw where Kaede was coming from and how she does have a sense of direction on what's wrong or right, but she was too focused on one thing, and that directed her whole life. Throwing away what's wrong or what's right.
"But about that time, the tentacles took control and refused to let me wait," she explained to the class all still listening intently, "I'm so stupid," she laughed to herself with a warn down smile, "Assassination has been a self-discovery for you all and Saiki-Sensei's has been about ruining his once-normal life, while I have spent the last year secretly obsessed with revenge."
Saiki looked down on her from his chair and rolled up, but he couldn't say anything, and to be frank he thinks Kaede knew no one could say much at that moment.
All except for Nagisa and his mouth.
"Kayano, it's because of you I quit being self-conscious about my hair," he patted up his pony-tail that Kaede must have introduced him to, he smiled, he looked back to normal Nagisa now, "The first time we met, you pretty much called it out, and look at me now, right?" the boy prided himself in his own words, "and as you said, Koro-Sensei's name...you're the one who gave it to him remember?"
Kaede looked up to her maybe-boyfriend-maybe-not in awe as he looked up to him, both literally and metaphorically from her place on the ground. "Maybe you were just playing a role. Okay, fine. It doesn't mean it wasn't a part of you or that our friendship was based on a lie. We all wear masks from time to time, we're all different from the inside than what we are in the out. It's still the real you." Nagisa confronted the girl and comforted her as well.
"I say drop all future ideas and make Nagisa a motivational speaker for teenagers," Saiki commented and Karma bobbed his head with a nod.
"Here's the deal: Koro-Sensei owes us an explanation as a class. None of us expects him to a sort of Saint,"
"Period," Saiki muttered as he then bit his tongue, he should probably stay away from his grandmother for the time being.
"We know he doesn't do all the right things, but as a class--," Nagisa squatted down next to her and gave her a friendly, warm smile, "--let's hear his story." Nagisa offered up as Kaede softly agreed as she began to cry.
"And thanks..." she sobbed, "It's nice to finally feel real..."
"And the cutest couple of E-Class goes to..." Karma whispered to Saiki, "Nagisa and Kaede," Saiki did a few jazz hands to add effect, he would usually have done a firework or something cool among those lines, but he was now a normal human...he felt a little peasant-like.
"And sir," Isogai turned and faced Koro-Sensei, who stood a few meters away from the group, "What done is done," Saiki agreed, Koro-Sensei couldn't change the past...but Saiki could.
Shaking his head he got rid of that idea, he dealt with the past once and he couldn't change it to the way he liked it, better not to try to change something that was none of his business anyway.
"As long as you tell us the truth, we'll accept it,"
Koro-Sensei groaned as he knew he wouldn't get out of this so easily, but ended up saying: "Thank you" to the kids. "I'd hoped to never revisit this chapter of my life," he said, as he looked up to the night sky, "And yet, I seem to have little choice, as your trust is vital to me, I would never do anything to break it, never jeopardize our bond,"
Saiki felt like he needed to know this over wanting to know this, "When Saiki left, and we were in the island--,"
'I don't remember being gone for that long,' Saiki thought to himself but still listened in.
"Mr. Karasuma said of Miss. Irina, if you'll recall: 'There is a lot more to a good assassin than meets the eye', those words were especially relevant here," Koro-Sensei recalled for the students, and also semi-explained to Saiki, who was wondering what happened when he was gone.
"You see, children, and Kusuo,"
'Am I suddenly not a child anymore? I am seventeen years old,'
"This class represents my first go as a teacher. But, all things considered, I think it's fair to assert, I have more than risen to the challenge. After all...I am a gifted improviser."
The class gasped, and Saiki didn't like where this was going.
Takebayashi gulped and slowly said, "Then...do you...do you mean..." he drifted off his words, hoping he got the wrong conclusion.
"Yes," he said sternly, "Until two years ago, I was the assassin known as The Reaper,"
The kids who didn't understand now did, as a few even pulled away from the teacher in fear, but Saiki faced him, to see if this was some sort of joke, a silly game gone totally wrong, but no.
Koro-Sensei didn't seem to be joking, his face wasn't pink or striped green, it was its usual yellow color.
"And that's not all," Koro-Sensei said, Saiki pulled away, and tugged on Karma and Rio to leave the premises imminently, but they didn't want to move, they needed to hear this.
And the scariest part for Saiki was that:
He truly believed he would never have the chance to see his family or the nuisances ever again.
