What did he want to do with his life?
With Saiki
Finally on the chopping block for a stable career of choice was Nagisa.
Though to Saiki's dismay, Nagisa looked more frustrated with himself than what Saiki had ever seen before.
"So have you decided on a proper career? Nagisa m'boy,"
"Don't say that." Saiki says as he sat on the windowsill, "You sound stupid."
"Hey! Mind you, but I'm trying to have a relationship with my students, thank you very much!" Koro-Sensei yelled, but Saiki only shook his head in anti-social ness and looked out the window once again, though he still listened in to his co-worker and student.
Nagisa stood darkly in front of Koro-Sensei and Saiki, trying to stutter out a response, "Sir, I...I think well, uh..." he tried to think of the proper word usage, even his mind was fumbling and hard to decipher what he was thinking.
"I think I have a talent for killing people," he said as Saiki paused and scrunched up his eyebrows, he personally didn't think that was too much of a good idea for Nagisa.
"I'm pretty sure I could get to where the Reaper does," he compared himself to a top assassin, Saiki breathed in, but let the boy continue. "We all know I don't have any other strengths," another inhale came from Saiki, quietly though he was pretty sure Koro-Sensei heard him. "So, what I mean is: what else can I reasonably shoot for, right?"
'That was one hell of a pun' Saiki thought, as he tried to hear his student out, but red flags were waving anywhere and everywhere to help his student change his mind.
Koro-Sensei turned his chair to face Nagisa, but Nagisa kept talking, "Koro-Sensei, should I...? Should I become an assassin?" Saiki was shaking his head in disagreement, but Nagisa didn't seem to notice. Saiki didn't know what job could be good for the small blue-haired boy, but it for sure wasn't going to be in for assassination, if he had a say in it, though Saiki did have a say in it, not a final say, but a say none the less.
Koro-Sensei stood up as Nagisa begged for his help, "You're a sensible young man, Nagisa." Koro-Sensei spoke softly and truthfully, "and a good student, I'm sure you would've weighed the risks of choosing this job."
"And for the record, you have a gift for the work. No one who has seen you in action can doubt that. While facing an otherworldly monster, or an unhinged teacher, or an evil genius." Koro-Sensei was being a little passive-aggressive towards Saiki at the moment, speaking about his brother in a way the youngest Saiki in the family only had to agree. "You will prevail,"
"Your attacks are thought-out and well-timed, with a surprising amount of no fear. All indispensable qualities for a master killer,"
Nagisa seemed saddened by the choice of words his teacher said, as he hummed in approval.
"That being said, of course: while you are courageous there's a tinge of desperation, you never give your safety or dignity, a second thought. You strike without fear because you feel you have nothing to lose,"
Saiki stepped forward, he didn't like the thoughts playing in both his student's and co-worker's mind, but as he tried to Koro-Sensei held him back. "But to what end should your talents be put to use? And for whom? Reexamine those questions more closely, and we'll talk again after your soul searching."
