With Saiki (Limited)
So Takebayashi was still talking and Saiki listened.
"He's right," Karasuma sided with him, "There are multiple research facilities all over the world, dedicating themselves to the problem 24/7," he said as he looked at the four-eyed speaker of the classroom.
And then continued to speak, "Needless to say, their work is highly classified. Finding out what they know will be the next thing to impossible."
"Infiltration of the project database complete!" Ritsu cheered. Dung hit Karasuma as he yelled: "What the--?!"
Ritsu only flushed a computerized red, "If it's online I can access it. No problem." she smiled as he opened up her school sweater to have the inside be green and black in data codes and files, millions and billions of Yen, Dollars, Pounds, and Won research was held within her, "What can I say? I've learned a lot this year,"
Nagisa complemented her as everyone began to crowd around her, just as she began to pull up the information, "Every lab in existence has to be on this thing," Maehara said "Jackpot!"
But Saiki knew not good things last forever, and this one ended specifically quickly, "Uh-oh!" the computer said, "I've combed through all the files," she said sadly, "But I'm not seeing any trace of any of the information we need, we even have information to stop Saiki-Sensei if he went rouge but nothing about helping or even saving Koro-Sensei." her voice faltered from behind the motor.
Saiki's eyebrows twitched, 'Fantastic,' he thought to himself 'Get information on how to kill the teenager that was pulled out of his house and forced to work and pose under a teacher while he tried to kill his co-worker,' Saiki grumbled a bit as Koro-Sensei patted him in the back.
"There, there, Kusuo." Koro-Sensei said, "You can get angry when we sit down for tea and sweets. But it's improper to look like this in front of your students." Saiki inhaled then exhaled, as he fixed his posture and continued to listen.
"I guess the higher-up's only handoff that kinda stuffs in person," Isogai said, as Karasuma scratched his head.
"Great, so anybody even doing research on how to save Koro-Sensei?" Maehara was a little edgy in anger at the moment.
But Fuwa helped, "Guys, look. There is a lab in the United States! 'Preventing destructive antimatter chain reactions do to tentacle-cell aging and fission' ," she read off (Over 60% of the readers here are from the USA, hello my red, starry white, and blue readers!)
"I'm no scientist--," 'Your grades show that "--but that seems like a definite hit to me!" she said happily as she continued to read off the information, "Last samples return from ISS on January 25th... What's ISS? Anybody know?" she finished reading and asked.
"Wait a minute..." Kaede thought for a moment, "That's..."
"Woah!" Mimura said in awe, "The International Space Station!" he then got nervous, "They're conducting their research in outer space!"
"Um," Okuda said "It's possible." she seemed nervous too, how were they going to get the information now? "Certain types of research require zero gravity or a perfect vacuum." she thought thoughtfully, as she looked at the database with every other student. "And well, of course, if there's a chance it, could cause a big, uh, catastrophic explosion there'd be way less collateral damage and damage to the economy," she said as her voice tripped off.
"Couldn't we just as for the data as colleagues?" Isogai asked but Karamauma folded his arms over his chest and heaved a sigh ('Why are so many people sighing?')
"You could, sure." he told them "But unfortunately and bad enough, you kids are just one outpost among many." the kids weren't happy about hearing this information "With all the red tape involved that data might not make it in time," he gave them the heavy truth as all the childish job they first had when given the news that they could possibly save Koro-Sensei, drained completely from their faces in melted sadness.
Karma who stood to the side spoke up, "Mr. Karasuma." he said in a polite tone, both teachers looked up "I know what your thinking,"
'Wasn't that my job?'
"Killing him is still the backup plan. Trust me. We're not going to go into this half-cocked." he said with dead-serious eyes, "If there's any hope of saving him at all, we'll do whatever it takes. If not, this class will continue to stick to the original game plan. Won't we, Nagisa?" he smiled and turned to his friend, who smiled kindly and softly as he nodded.
"That has been our understanding from the start."
"Before we do anything. I need a blueprint," Karma said. "Be square with us. How serious are the rules we're about to break?" he asked, as Koro-Sensei and Saiki looked to the two higher-end teachers.
"Mr. Karasuma, Miss. Irina will you give the students and I a moment. Sorry, you too Kusuo."
All three gave Koro-Sensei a questioning look, "What we're about to discuss might potentially cause one or two, maybe a little more liability issues for you,"
Kusuo looked confused, he was fine with this. "And Kusuo set up the kettle, I'll be with you in a second." Saiki nodded as he stepped out of the classroom, and he knew Koro-Sensei will fill him in with the plan later.
But a talent Koro-Sensei is good at is that he can tell when a student is stressed out, or nervous, or any other unwanted feelings students tended to have, Irina and Karasuma soon stepped out of the room, as Saiki boiled the tea in the teacher's lounge.
Seeing his tired face through the reflection made him tired, and horrified by the face that had only stared back.
Saiki looked away, this was his new life, just for a bit longer, just for three more months until they save or kill Koro-Sensei, that's to the point when seven and a half billion people will have the same death day.
Saiki set out the teacups and only wondered what they were talking about in the other room.
