"SAYA!!" Saitama was too late, Saya had already disappeared from the sky and into space. Everyone who was there witnessed Saya shooting up into the sky at high speed.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In the black abyss of space, Saya flew this thing as far away as she could. Holding her breath, she allowed her energy to engulf her, her eyes turning white, 'I need to cover this thing with my energy. If I don't, everyone will die,' Saitama came to mind, 'Saitama. I'm sorry, but I can't lose you again. If I were able to control the energy of this thing, then there wouldn't be any risk. If I do die...I pray that you'll find happiness elsewhere. I love you.'

Her flaming energy expanded and engulfed the sphere, just as it detonated. The explosion couldn't be heard in the endless void.

Back on earth, the heroes waited patiently. Saitama, Sona and Genos were waiting on top of the large craft. Saitama waited with baited breath, his heart pounding almost painfully in his chest. Suddenly, seismic waves appeared in the sky, clearly from the explosion. The first wave created a huge gust of wind, making most of the heroes shield their eyes from the flying debris until it died down.

The waves finally subsided and there was silence.

Sona said, quietly and solemnly, "She did it. We are safe."

Genos said nothing and looked towards his Master. Saitama was still looking up towards the sky, waiting. Genos expression turned grim and he approached him, "Master," nothing, "Master, I fear that...Ms. Saya might not have--"

"Stop," Saitama said sternly, making the cyborg quiet. He said with almost defeat in his tone, his gaze now downcast, "Just...stop."

Genos knew he didn't want to hear it, even though the reality of it was staring them in the face. Genos tried to put a comforting hand on his Master's shoulder but pulled his arm away. Saitama didn't want to be comforted, he just...wanted Saya back. But she's gone.

Just then, they heard a sonic boom from the sky. The three heroes looked back to the sky and watched as a small speck seemed to reenter the atmosphere in a ball of fire.

"What on earth is that?" Puri Puri Prisoner spotted it first among the other S class heroes.

Sona stepped closer, "Is that..?"

When the flames disappeared, Saitama's eye widened. Falling to the earth was Saya. The next thing the android and cyborg knew, Saitama had launched himself into the sky.

As Saya plummeted to the earth, Saitama had practically flew in and caught her midair. This threw off both of their momentums. Saitama just barely managed to skid backwards on his feet through the dirt. His momentum was still carrying him in that direction until he came to a complete stop.

When he did, he fell to his knees, still holding Saya. One hand was around her shoulders, the other was wrapped around her waist. Saya was practically covered in blood, wounds were all over her body, her cloak was gone, burnt up from reentry. The hand around her waist came to rest on her cheek as he tried to coax her awake, "Saya? Saya, come on, wake up," Saitama stayed as composed as he could, but he was scared since she wasn't responding, "Saya, come on!"

Relief finally filled him when he heard her groan weakly, her eyes fluttering open with difficulty. Her vision started to clear and was surprised to see Saitama holding her, but was too tired to show it, "Hey..." she greeted weakly.

Saitama couldn't help but break out into a small smile, "You scared me, you know that?" he spoke softly, "Don't ever do that to me again, okay?"

Saya managed a smile on her own, "No promises."
