"We'll have to thank Genos when we come back," Saya told Saitama. Saya had a small duffel bag over her shoulder, Saitama holding his own as they entered the lobby of the Hot Spring Resort.
"I still think it was a bit much," Saitama replied with a sigh.
Saya just giggled at his mild apprehensiveness, "That's probably why Genos didn't want to say anything until after the ceremony. Just be happy that we have a week free, here."
'Congratulations to you both,' Genos told them as everyone was getting ready to leave, ready to take the couple out to celebrate their marriage.
'Thanks, Genos,' Saya smiled at him.
'Oh, before I forget, I have a wedding gift for you two,' Genos said as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out two pieces of paper.
Saitama took them both, 'What's this?'
'They are a Full Week Pass to a Hot Spring Resort. Free room, room service and full privileges of the facility,' Genos explained, 'It is custom for newlyweds to go off on a honeymoon to officially consummate the marriage.'
Remembering what he said made the couple blush at the memory.
"I guess, you're right. We don't have to pay for anything, so, I shouldn't really complain," Saitama shrugged.
Saya was looking at her feet, a smile on her face and was still blushing, "At least, we won't be bothered. We can finally have alone time."
Saya slid her hand into his and he squeezed her hand back. With hands intertwined, they went to the receptionist desk, gave them the passes and they were escorted to their room.
Inside the room, the futons were pressed and folded in the corner for their usage, a beautiful bathroom and a private hot spring right outside their room via bamboo sliding doors.
"Wow, this is nice," Saya breathed, putting her duffel bag down and taking out some undergarments, shampoo and body wash, "The yukatas are in the closet, right?"
"Yeah, why?" Saitama asked as he put his bag next to hers.
Saya was in the middle of taking a neatly folded yukata out of the closet when she answered, "It's pretty early in the day, but I want to soak in the hot spring before we head to the banquet hall tonight. Do you want to join me?"
It was almost as though Saitama's brain had stopped working. Blinking at her a few times, he replied with the flattest tone, "I'm good."
Saya just shrugged and opened the bamboo sliding doors, "That's fine. If you want to try it after me, I won't be too long."
As soon as she closed the sliding doors, Saitama face palmed, 'Dammit! I can't believe I froze! Why did I say that, it's not like I haven't seen her naked before?! Plus, she's my wife now, I shouldn't be embarrassed!!'
While Saitama was berating himself, Saya had already stripped out of her clothes, washed herself in the outdoor shower, and had sunk into the hot springs. She let out contented sigh, 'This feels nice. I never been to a Hot Spring before, so it was nice for Genos to give us those passes. I'd be nice if Saitama joined me, though. I don't know, maybe he just isn't used to all of this, yet. I shouldn't push him.'
Inside, Saitama was unpacking some of his belongings, still berating himself, but not as harshly as before, 'I need to calm down. I shouldn't be nervous. I just hope I didn't upset Saya. Maybe I should do something for her.'
"Saitama, are you dressed, yet?" he heard Saya from outside.
Saitama seemed to almost flinch as he was shocked out of his thoughts, "Uh, no, not yet!"
"When you do, do you want to head to the shrine in the area? The Tanabata Festival is today," Saya told him.
