"Have some breakfast before leaving," Tae called to the teen.

"I'm not hungry," Bas grumbled storming out of the house.

"Kid?" Tae called.

Bas stopped at the front porch.

"Are you still angry with us?" Tae moved closer to ruffle his kid brother's hair.

"Why did we have to leave Phuket?" Bas whined.

"We've been through this, baby." Tae considers Bas as his own child, even though the age difference between the two brothers is just over eight years. "Bangkok is a great opportunity. Both for the restaurant and for your college."

"Our restaurant at Phuket was doing great. Why did you have to cell it?" Bas pouted.

"I told you," Tae said with patience. "I got a good price for it."

"But I hate Bangkok," Bas said brattily. "I could have stayed with our aunt at Phuket."

"I can't burden her anymore. Besides you're my brother. I promised mom that I would take care of you."

"Please don't go there Pa," Bas sighed. He likes to call Tae Pa, since his big brother is his only known father figure. "I just don't like Bangkok." He muttered.

"How can you say that, when we just arrived here?" Tae smiled.

"I hate Bangkok and I hate Bangkok people." He stomped his foot childishly. "And I miss my friends back home."

"I'm sure you will find Bangkok people just fine," Tae ruffled the child's hair playfully. "Here," He pushed few bills in Bas' pocket. "Eat something on your way. Don't take your anger on food."

"I have my own money," Bas grumbled but accepted the money anyway. "I'm leaving." He called after, jumping down the front porch.

"Wait for Kimmon," Tae called. "He'll drop you off at the campus." Bas waved a hand without looking back. "Don't forget you have your shift at the restaurant at six."

"Got it Pa," Bas called and stopped next to Kimmon's motorbike.
