"My brother Kimmon was brought here for questioning earlier today?"

Tae spoke with the officer at the reception.

"Can I see him?"

"Godt Itthipat assault case, right?" The officer clicked on the computer and inquired. "I'll direct you to the officer in charge." He picked the receiver of the fixed-line on his desk and pressed a few numbers. "Hey, Green?" He tapped on his desk with a pencil, talking over the phone. "Someone's here to see you regarding the Itthipat case." His eyes traveled up Tae's figure and then shifted to Copter who stood next to him. "Ah-ha, hm.. hm?" He mumbled inaudibly for a bit longer and replaced the receiver. "Please have a seat in the visitor's area. Officer Green will be with you shortly." He gestured at a raw of plastic chair.

Tae nodded and moved towards the chair, followed by Copter.

"I wonder why they are taking so much time," Tae slumped on one of the uncomfortable chairs. "They took him hours ago," He ran his fingers through his already messed up hair. "How long does it take to question a person?" He sighed.

"I hope he can come home with us after I give my statement," Copter mused sitting side by side with the older man.

"I hope so too," Tae murmured.

"Mr. Tae," The same office who come to take Kimmon away for questioning, the short chubby one, came with a mild smile. "I'm Officer Green. We met at the restaurant."

"Hello, Officer Green,"

Both Tae and Copter stood up to greet the policemen.

"Can we see my brother now?" Tae asked eagerly. "It's been hours now and Copter here...," He gestured at the short guy. "...can vouch for his whereabouts."

"That would be really helpful," Office Green gestured them to follow him. He guided both of them into an empty room with a small rectangular table in the middle and four chairs around it. "You can see your brother but can you please wait here." He waved his hand at the table and chairs. Tae and Copter went inside, not without bewilderment. "I'll be with you in a minute."

Tae and Copter sat there in silence, waiting for the officer to show up. Even though they knew that Kimmon is innocent, the suspense was tearing them apart a bit by bit.

After waiting what it felt like hours, the officer Green came back with a file.

"Sorry about the delay," He smiled pleasantly. Pulling a chair back he sat in front of Tae and Copter.

"Officer Green," Tae moved closer. "Copter's been with Kim since the fight yesterday," He clapped his hand on Copter's shoulder.

"Good, Good," The chubby older fellow nodded his head. "Copter?" He turned to the blond boy. "Can you tell me what you saw and what happened after that?" The officer placed a small tape recorder on the table and folded his arms over the Formica tabletop.
