Xana's POV

My alarm blares at five am informing me that all too soon the break is over and school resumes today marking the beginning of a new semester. Our senior year.
I go for a run and come back in time to take a warm shower. I get dressed in a white shirt over denim trousers and Black and gold Nike Air Max 270 before going down for breakfast.

I meet an already set table in the small eating area for four since Izzy and Tori have travelled to Japan for a charity conference and Yourri's mom to Nigeria on work basis, so leaving four teenagers in one big house with the rest of the household staff. Two girls and two boys. Not that anything would happen anyway.

"You know the Orange juice box is mine right?" I say to Yourri who has stretched an arm to have a pour from it

"You know the Orange juice box is mine right?" I say to Yourri who has stretched an arm to have a pour from it.

"Your name isn't on it" she shrugs

"Check it" I tell her and she does

"Oh" she mutters when she realises that my name is indeed on the box before putting it back.

"Told you" I shrug nonchalantly.

"Xana just share with her" Beth suggests as I take a seat opposite Rashid.

"Not gonna happen " I flash her a toothy grin and open the carton and start drinking from it directly, "she doesn't even like orange that much, there's pineapple for you"

"How do you even know that? " Yourri asks me surprised.

"You're that obvious" I wipe my lips with the back of my hand before chugging the remaining contents of my juice.

"Xana use a glass" Beth scolds.

"Ughh I thought you'll just give me a pass this time" I pour the juice into the glass and continue drinking from it, "it tastes much better drinking it directly from the juice box."

Breakfast goes by slowly and after what seems like forever we're finally in school.

"Here comes the popular clique" I hear one of the students scream despite the shut doors and windows as we pull into the parking lot. It's my turn to drive us today to school; Rashid and I normally take turns.

Sometimes I don't get why the rest of the school makes a fuss. Few years back we were just the unnoticeable guys until I was compelled to lead the school's swimming team and Rashid made to join the basketball team. Okay well we weren't totally unnoticeable because eveyone knew us as the bad boys in elementary school and middle school since we'd get into trouble always.

March is also quite known in Junior year, after all she's the daughter of one of the world's richest car dealers. Yourri, I am not really sure. I think she's the only one in the car with a low profile, not that it's a bad thing.

I switch off the engine of our new 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA. I step out after Rashid does, then March.
