"To give the most fragile parts of you to a person who was once a stranger is the bravest act a human could do which is why falling in love is as scary as hell but therefore don't fall in love, walk into it."

Yourri

The moon is bright, the porch light of my house is on, I check the time and it's eight in the evening. Xana and I went out to get some food since he didn't eat any of the fried teriyaki chicken rice I helped cooked. It actually wasn't that hard, just really involving. Xana halts the car in front of my house, instead of entering the driveway, he parks on the curb.

"We're here" he announces, taping his fingers on the steering wheel repeatedly.

"Yes I can see that" I sigh

"You know you can be a bummer sometimes, Yourri" he whispers into the atmosphere.

"Should i be appreciative? " i ask in between laughs.

"More than appreciative " his eyes gleam in the dark.

"I'll see you at school then" I open the door to get down but hesitate in doing so, "bye"

"I was thinking that maybe I'll uuh pick you up for school tomorrow " he smiles and leans back in his seat.

"Okay but are you sure about it?" I ask trying to keep my composure under control, oh my gosh! I'm squealing inside of me, "i mean no one knows about us yet, are we even a thing?" I ask to clear all doubt

"It was jut a kiss Yourri" he scoffs, "people kiss all the time, get over it" what? I-I thought I-we shared a moment yesterday.

"Xana-" is all I'm able to mutter since my mind decided to bail on me, blinking back hot tears from falling.

"Of course Yourri, we're a thing" he laughs relief suddenly washing over me, "that is if that is what you also want" he laughs even more, "you should have seen the look on your face" he snickers, "damn I should've taken a shot"

"Shut up" I shove him lightly in the chest but he catches my hand and intertwines it with his.

"Listen, I'm serious about this, about us" he kisses the back of my hand sending a million volts of electricity to surge through me, "you still haven't told me if you agree or not" I actually like how he makes me a have a say when it comes to us, he doesn't like rush things and decide on his own. Like when he asked if it was okay to go ahead and kiss me, we both know that's what we want but he still goes on to make sure that I'm fine with it first.

"Yes yes I'd want that too" I try to smile coming over the shock gradually, "but you never really asked me out yet"

"Do I like have to?" He sighs clearly not into the idea of asking me. I'm pretty sure his problem is with the words and not the idea. Must be hard for boys to formulate romantic words to ask a girl out. I don't mind if he doesn't write them himself and checks the internet.

"Yes Xana, you do" I laugh. He's cute when he's frustrated.

"Okay erhm, how does it even go?" He rubs the back of his hair with his other hand since our fingers are still laced, "okay don't worry I got this" he smiles.

"Sure?" I ask half surprised, "you don't look like the one to get tongue twisted" I laugh inwardly.

"Don't worry I'll handle it" he winks at me and okay now I'm smiling, "Yourri erhmm" he takes in a deep breath, "I never thought I'd like you this much and I never planned to have you on my mind this often."

"Oh" I'm taken back and he gives my hand a little squeeze.

"I like you very much, You're the only girl I want" my heart does a multitude flips, "and You will make me the happiest person in the world if you say yes to being mygirlfriend."
