I let out a sigh of relief when I get to my room finally away from that woman, with Yourri tagging behind me like a lost chicken.

"Sit" I tell her pointing to my bed and she does, "don't go anywhere " I say and disappear into my closet. I pick up my adidas Tiro duffle bag and start packing a few shirts and some sweatpants, folding them neatly before putting them into the bag.

I put my hands on my waist standing in the middle of my closet, "i don't even know why I agreed to this " I say to no one in particular. More like myself .

"I would've saved myself so much trouble I I hadn't agreed" I sigh trying to mentally make a list of things I may need.

"I really hate packing but because that woman has to create drama now I have to pack, I actually can't believe I agreed to this" I groan and rub the back of my hair. "Stupid me for agreeing " I roll my eyes, "and stupid Yourri for convincing me"

"Thank God that I only get described as stupid" someone clears their throat and I realize that it's her. I roll my eyes again.

"I thought I told you to sit" I say not looking at her, "wait how long have you been there?" I ask her hoping that she didn't see me rant.

"Yeah and got up" she answers me in that duh tone, "oh and by the way I've just been there long enough to hear you calling yourself stupid" she guffaws before adding, "at least i wasn't the only one who got called stupid  so i guess I'll take that as compensation " she laughs heartily once more and I find myself getting intrigued by her laughter, it's as if they have chords of their own that are pulling me to her. Snap out of it Xana!

I clear my throat which is enough to make her stop laughing before asking her, "why are you here?"

"Erhm I realise that I also have to pack since you-"she states in that duh tone again, which makes me smile for like a few milliseconds but I'm able to turn it into a frown very quickly. Phew! What would have happened if she caught me smiling at her?

"We both wouldn't have to pack if you weren't stupid enough to listen to that woman " my mind instability goes back to what transpired back in the foyer and my anger is starting to rise again.

"That woman is your mother, Xana" she says calmly, her eyes keep on searching mine as if to find something in them, what is there to find anyway? Just loss and despair.

"See now because of her, we have to argue " I yell at her, remembering i haven't grabbed any towels I enter the bathroom to pick some up.

"We already used to argue " she says following me, "don't you dare pin it on that woman" she yells back at me probably also getting angry.

"Just shut up, you aren't helping" I tell her not wanting to make a big argument out of this, I fold both towels I took neatly.

"You fold?" She asks looking shocked by my ability and tendency to fold, thereby completely changing the topic making it seem as if we weren't fighting a few seconds ago.

"Some boys like their stuff neat and organized" I put the towels into the bag without first stealing glances at her.

"So you folded to France?" She has a grin on her face, instantaneously I feel slightly nervous. Gosh! Even her smile is remarkably beautiful. She mutters something inaudible under her breath but that seem to snap me out of the trance I was put in by her.

"Do you see a messy closet" I point my index around, "and yes i folded my clothes, any problem? "
