I slip my phone back in my pocket and sit down on one of the empty metal chairs, resting the back of my head against the cold wall.
I began to slowly drift off forgetting about everything that's happened when my phone vibrates in my pocket.
I pull it out and check the status bar to see that it's a text, from Alex.
From: Lexi 🤠
I'm done changing, come make fun of people on the internet with me.
I lightly chuckle at the text and get up.
"Hey." Alex says as I walk in. "You look like hell."
"Gee, thanks for the support." I roll my eyes and sit down at the edge of the bed.
"Well I'm ready-"
"Hey guys you ready to go?" Mr Arrington comes in.
"Yeah." Alex says and I give him two thumbs up as my way of saying yes.
He laughs before saying "Alright let's get going."
He walks over to the side of Alex's bed to help him get up and I walk to the other side, grabbing his meds and old clothes.
Alex walks with a slight limp a but still manages to keep going.
We make it down stairs and try to get to the car as fast as we could, avoiding the rain as much as possible.
I decide to leave my car here because I'm too tired to drive, I'll just come get it tomorrow.
Mr Arrington helps Alex sit down in the back seat and I get in after him.
Half way through the drive I slowly began to let go of the tension I didn't know was inside me and slowly we both drift away into a deep sleep in each other's arms.

I hear someone saying my name, half asleep, I mumble "What?"
"Come on guys get up and you can sleep all you want after we get inside." I hear who I assume is Alex's dad say.
Did someone say more sleep? Hell yeah, I'm down for that.
I slowly began to open my eyes and gently sit up as Mr Arrington tries to wake his very sleepy son.
"Alex, come on, we can sleep some more when we get inside." l try to wake Alex up, he must've been thinking what I was thinking because as soon as I said sleep more he slowly began to rub his eyes open.
Mr Arrington helps him up and I grab his stuff before we head in.

I gently climb next to alex on his bed after we both showered and changed, it's been a long day.Alex sticks his arm out to me so I rest my head on his chest and he wraps his arm around me and pulls the covers over us.
"Night shit head." he mumbles.
"Night dumbass." I reply with a light chuckle and clap my hands turning the lights off.
Alex has one of those lights that opens and closes when you clap, it really comes in handy when you're this tired.

I can hear someone saying something, I just don't know what or who so I ignore it and go back to sleep.
At least try to, the dude won't stop trying to wake me up.
