Death glare

"Get off my girlfriend!" Valkyrie exclaimed but made no attempt to help Carol. No one, not even Valkyrie, could escape Thor's bear hugs.

He eventually let Carol go and she stumbled slightly. She leaned on Valkyrie for support and put a hand to her chest.

"You scared the hell out of me!" A few concerned heads turned towards the scene the trio were making but quickly looked away when they saw Thor.

Carol and Valkyrie had been walking to their art class when they heard a loud voice call their names. Thor had sprinted over to them faster then Valkyrie had ever seen or expected. That, followed by him attacking Carol with a hug, had actually scared the pair.

"I'm just so happy for you two. Valkyrie said she wasn't going to ever get in a serious relationship but I held onto hope, didn't I? I said anyone you run into could be... they." The pair stared at him for a moment and he gave them the thumbs up with a toothless grin. There really was no one like Thor.

The two glanced at each other, neither knowing how to respond.

"Umm... Thanks?" Carol said unsurely as she rubbed her neck.

Thor squinted slightly then widened his eyes. "You have a hickey!" He shouted.

"Shut the hell up!" Valkyrie hushed.

"You have one two!" Thor pointed excitedly but was called over by a group of his friends. He waved them away half heartedly.

"Not now, I'm talking to my favourite lesbians!" Thor said a little too loudly making Carol laugh.

"I'm bi!"

"She has the flag and everything." Carol said. "Hey, I should get a flag."

"Yeah, another time we gotta go." Valkyrie said.

"Bye ladies!" Thor called as they hurried to art. Thor started walking towards his friends, chanting under his breath. "Let's go lesbians, let's go."

"Just try to think. Where do you see yourself in ten years?" Kartez said to his class, trying, and failing, to interest them in the project.

"Bar hopping with you." Valkyrie whispered to Carol.

"I'm honoured." Carol whispered back. Most of the people in the class seemed a million miles away so Kartez decided to drop his speech for the time being and let them get on with their work.

Valkyrie's gaze wondered for a second untill she saw Em. She was sat with a couple of other girls who seemed to be as enthusiastic about her being there as Carol was.

The two locked eyes, neither showing any sign of backing down. Em had a bitchy scowl planted on her face while Valkyrie had a straight up death glare.

Valkyrie reached over to hold Carol's hand whilst keeping her eyes on Em. The small gesture of affection seemed to annoy her but not spite her enough to look away.

Carol saw where her girlfriend was looking and quickly caught onto their game. She leaned in close to Valkyrie, pressing herself against her and whispered in her ear. "I think she's jealous." Valkyrie smirked slightly and Em finally looked back down at her work.

"I don't think she'll bother you again." Valkyrie said turning back to Carol.

"No, I doubt she will."
