At a cafe

"What did you want to tell me." I ask, cutting to the chase.

"We didn't even order yet." Hyun Woo says.

"Fine. Let's order." I say.

"Strawberry smoothie, right?" He asks. I'm shocked that he remembered.

"Yeah." I reply. This whole situation feels really suspicious, I really don't know why I agreed to this. I scroll through Insta, while I wait for Hyun Woo to order. He's acting really weird. Am I being set up? I wish all of this was just a dream that could wake up from and everything would be normal. But unfortunately this is my reality.

"One strawberry smoothie." Hyun Woo says, placing it in front of me. He takes the seat across from me. I study him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Hyun Woo asks.

"Nothing." I say, taking a sip of my smoothie. We sit there in silence for a bit. What's his real motive?

"What did you want to tell me?" I ask. Hyun Woo runs his hand through his hair.

"Jin Soo is going to get Yong Guk's trial moved up." Hyun Woo says. I stare at him in shock

"But you're working for him. Why would you tell me this?" I ask,skeptically.

"You're dumb, aren't you?" He asks. I glare at him.

"Excuse you." I say.

"Anyways, his dad is good friends with the judge, which means that Yong Guk's fate is already set." Hyun Woo says.

"Seriously, why are you telling me this?" I ask. There has to be more to this.

"You really thought I would betray you? Do you think that poorly of me?" Hyun Woo asks.

"You were so mad at me for being with Yong Guk." I say.

"Jae Eun-ah, as much as I dislike Yong Guk, I still love you. Like you said earlier, we've been through so much together. This whole thing was an act to get close to Jin Soo so I could get dirt on him." Hyun Woo says.

"Okay." I say. "Is that all?"

"Yeah." Hyun Woo says. I stand up and grab my things.

"Where are you going?" Hyun Woo asks.

"I'm going home." I say.

"You're just gonna leave like that?" He questions.

"Mhm." I say.

"I wanna talk to you." He says.

"You already told me what you wanted to say." I point out. I don't want to have this conversation anymore. I walk away before he can say anything else. My phone rings when I go outside. It's from Zelo.

"Hello?" I say.

"He's gone." Zelo says, frantically.

"Did he a leave a note or something?" I ask.

"Yeah." Zelo says.

"I'm on my way." I say and then hang up.

Zelo's House

I knock on Zelo's door and it immediately opens. The rest of his friends are there.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Yong Guk is missing." Daehyun says.

"Here's the note." Zelo says, handing me a folded piece of paper. I unfold it and read.
