Chapter 31

2 weeks later

Amy's POV

We finally told mom about everything today. She was very shaken but she was proud of us. She thanked us for doing our best totals care of ourselves. We haven't told her about the other problems, we didn't want to stress her out.

"Hey, I have a good idea. I'll be right back." Emily said. She ran off to go get something. We all waited in silence, it was weird to have mom back. Maybe I should tell mom about my drinking... No, that will add more stress.

"I'm back. I want to show you guys a music video that has pretty much summed up our life recently. There are some parts that relate to only some people." Emily said. She opened up her laptop and went on YouTube. She typed in the a team by Ed Sheeran and clicked on the official music video.

I watched the video, I hadn't seen it before. It was quite sad and the song was beautiful. A tear slid down my cheek as I watched in awe.

"How did you guys like it?" Emily said with a bright smile. Everyone but her was in tears, she immediately understood.

1 month later

Christina's POV

We are doing better, everyone seems to be in better spirits than a few months ago. Mom has been recovering very well and she can do practically anything now. As for dad, he is slowly going out of a coma. My brothers are always energetic and happy. My sisters and I are getting better everyday. We all told mom about everything.

Dani has been alright, she's getting more and more confident by the day. I was heart broken when Lauren told us all about what happened between her and some slutty guy. Why would anyone want to use Lauren as a tool? Amy hasn't been partying much lately and she has been alcohol free for a while. Lisa has been doing great, she got a job at one of the best nail salons in Malibu where there is good pay and no language barriers. Katherine has been writing like crazy, she keeps showing us some ideas for original songs. Mom has been doing so well that she has been homeschooling the kids still doing school. I've been alright, I am doing some work as a psychologist. My boyfriend, Nick, and I have been spending a lot of time together lately.

There is really only one person in worried about, Emily. She's been kind of shy and guarded to herself a lot lately, and she was the one who spoke up to us and guarded us. Dylan, her brother, and her haven't communicated since that one Skype call a few months back until now. He called suddenly due to an X Factor audition in LA in a few days. I've been following him on YouTube and he is getting really big. It's very surprising that no one has signed him yet.

All of us finally went back to social networking sites. Millions of tweets and questions on Facebook were awaiting us. Our fans felt terrible, it was heartbreaking to know how bad they felt about us. We didn't even tell them about our personal problems. Our fans may be a part of our family but telling our personal problems to them won't do anything, they wouldn't look up to us anymore.

My sisters and I have been going back to the studio a lot lately. We are trying our best to finish our album and making up for the lost time. We all want to tour but not until dad gets better. Neither I nor my sisters could think of a good song to cover. Well, the girl who is always by our side thought of a good song for us at dinner one night.

Flashback

"This is great Katherine! Thank you for making this!" Emily said through a mouthful. I laughed and nodded in agreement.

"Haha, thank you!" Katherine replied. What happened after was too awkward. A dead silence engulfed the room and weird looks to each other was exchanged.
