Marauders one shots

The attack part,2

"Are you ready?" James asked
"I still don't like this plan" Remus replied
"Well you don't have much choice mate."
"I can feel it," Remus groaned "change, change now."
The boys changed into their animagus forms as Remus started changing, his spine cracking and popping his clothes ripping. The death eaters obviously didn't care that one of their prisoners was screaming in pain or (and the more likely option) the knew and had planned this. Moony was banging against the door trying to get out but after failing a few times he gave up and started attacking his friends going for Padfoot first only to be thrown of by Prongs.

"OMG Lily there you are, Uncle nice to see you, Lily come with me right now and look at this" Marlene said grabbing Lily's arm and pulling her outside into the court yard with Mr Potter following them. "Look" she said pointing to the sky at the moon.
"Shit" Lily swore "They're gonna be killed. We have to find them. Now"
"Would you too mind explaining this to me why are they going to die because of the moon?" Mr.Potter asked
"You don't know about Remus, do you?"
"Know what about him?"

Lily and Marlene exchanged a look and mutually desired not to tell him "Let's just get them and soon very soon or their want be anyone to get back"
"Mr.Potter, Albus has tracked them they are sending a group of Aurors there now if you want to get you son back?" McGonagall said as she walked up to the three " girls come with me" she said as Mr.Potter ran towards Dumbledores office "It is late and almost curfew."
"Professor do you think the boys will be alright?" Lily asked
"Ms Evans I am sure that those marauders will be just fine. Come along now."

As the group of 16 aurors appeared on the outside of where the death eaters were located they Heard howling "full moon" one of them said before they all made their way in to the manor with their wands out. The strange thing was that they didn't come across anyone no one person was in the manor. They only heard noises. Of animals. "What?"
"Are they animals"
"Why would they keep animals here"
"Oh who cares let's get the boys and get out of here"
"Go towards the noise?"
"Of course we are"

Remus could smell them, so could James and Sirius. Neither knew who was there except James he recognised several of the scents but mainly his father, his dad was there and getting closer, almost right outside the door, and he lost it just as the door was opened all the aurors could see as the doo swung open was a boy being attacked by a ware wolf with a black dog attacking it trying to get it off. Mr.Potter was the first to fire recognising the boy almost immediately as James and that got Moony's attention. Getting Moony outside was the difficult but multiple aurors lead him away but firing more spells at him and running to the exit with Moony following them trying to catch up wanting to kill them.

"The rest of you go finish searching this place the other boys have to be her somewhere." Mr.Potter said. The others ran of down the corridor and once they were gone Sirius and Peter transformed back into human and ran to James' side where he was bleeding a breathing heavy
"Wh-What in the name of Godric"
"Later." Sirius hissed "James Oh God James Why the fuck did you have to turn back"
"Move son we need to get him out of here and back to hogwarts. Expecto patronum Albus I have three of the boys James is badly injured I need you to lift the wards so I can apperate in with him."

Lily had been passing back and forth in the common room since her and Marlene had arrived. "Will you sit down already?"
"I'm sorry Marls" Lily said sitting down "I'm just worried"
"I know Lils, so am I"
And they just sat there in silence waiting and waiting and waiting for something, anything that tells them that the boys are alright, to not.
"Did you feel that?"
"Feel What Lils?"
"That change in pressure"
"No"
"There it happened again"
"Ok yeah I noticed something that time"
"What was it?"
"How the fuck am I supposed to know the answer to that."

"To the hospital wing now!" Dumbledore said as soon as the four arrived in his office
"Yeah no shit." Sirius said under his breath which his headmaster either didn't hear or just pretended not to. with James almost not breathing they all ran as fast as they could but passing the Gryffindor common room Sirius stopped Peter and told him to et Lily and Marlene and meet him up there.

Everyone was kicked out of the hospital wing as soon as James was placed on a bed they went out side of the doors. Sirius was sitting on the floor with his head in his hands when Mr. Potter came and sat next to him "It was Remus wasn't it?" he asked in a whisper
"Not really, he can't control it and it doesn't change who he is."
"I never said it did. So you and Peter are Animagus?"
"James too."
"oh I knew about James in his early years of being one if you scared him to much he would just pop into a stag, it was a big shock when it first happened. Almost game me a heart attack."
"Really?" Sirius chuckled
"Yep, his mother doesn't know after he explained it to me he asked me not to tell her because she would freak, so I promised I wouldn't."
"wait what did he explain since you didn't know about Moony?"
"Moony?" Mr. Potter asked
"Sorry, Remus"
"well he told me what I am guessing is a lie now he told me that he was bored with your class work in transfiguration ,which I know is true because I talked to Minerva about it, so he found a book on it and did it, he became one, I asked him why he said because it was a challenge."
"Sirius!? wh-where's James?" lily asked as she ran up with Peter and Marlene following "and Remus and you, are you alright?" she asked in a rush pulling him up and into a hug, as Marlene hugged Mr. Potter. "Im fine im fine umm Remus is still, well, umm and James is in there" sirius said pointing towards the Hospital wing doors behind them "but no one is aloud to see him wilst Poppy is working her magic as one would say."

When James woke up he didn't remember anything. Then it hit him like a train the fight, the death eaters, the cell, the transformation, the sents, his dad, him changing back. He changed back. Then the pain. The pain hit him at once, groaning he attracted the attention of Poppy who rushed over to give him a strengthening potion to try and ease the pain it didn't do a lot but it did enough. "Dad" was the first word he managed to get out 
"Your father is fine Mr. Potter in fact they all are you were very lucky especialy since you werent bitten and the scratches werent deep enough to turn you." Poppy informed him
"so im?"
"Still human."
