Guests were arriving, being greeted by the potters as they entered then moving towards he ballroom, where people were mingling, talking, having a night where all blood types are excepted, there is no such thing as a blood traitor, or a mudblood, everyone from the ministry were equals. Although once everyone leaves the next day everything goes back to normal (Blacks hating Potters, Potters hating Blacks) well as normal as normal is in the wizarding world.

"Stand up straight Sirius you are representing the Back name," walburga said as they walked up to the front entrance of the potters "and sort out your brothers shirt collar."
"Yes Mother" Sirius replied stopping and stopping Regulas as well
"What's wrong with Mother?" He asked
"She is stressed because we are at a ministry party and she wants to keep our families perfect reputation Reg"
Regulas laughed at the way Sirius said that setting Sirius into chuckles, which were short lived "Boys hurry up" their Father called back from where they were standing, Sirius sighed and looked at Regulas and said "stick to me in here Yeah, and we will be fine, Ok?"
"Ok."

"Ahhh hello Walberga" Mrs.P welcomed
"Hello cousin"
"I think we can loose the formality don't you?" Mr.P asked
"Yes, I think so, hello Euphemia" walberga sighed
"Welcome, come on in"
During the parents greating the boys were having their own conversation
"Reg this is my best mate James Potter, James this is my little brother Regulas"
"Alright Regulas"
"Hi" Regulas squeaked
"There is no need to be shy Reg" Sirius laughed
"Boys come now" Orion said
"Catch ya later mate," James said as the blacks headed inside.

The potters and Mckinnons were waiting in place out of sight at the top of the stairs with James not really caring what happens and Marlene's nerves buildings "hey calm down, how many times have we done this? How many times are we gonna do this in the future?"James asked
"Yeah you're probably right"

They both laughed but were quickly shushed by Mrs.P making them laugh more. When they finally got ahold of them selves 'down to the second by Zach Berkman' started playing and James realising he needed to be on the other side quickly ran round then Mr and Mrs.M started their descent when the words started playing
