Marauders one shots

Mr. Lupin

For some reason when people think of the Marauders and Remus Lupin they think of him as the shy, bookish, responsible one. What they don't know is that he is almost the opposite. Remus Lupin is the main brain behind the Marauders pranks, every prank that is directed at the whole school or the professors is planned and carried out by Mr. Lupin.

James came running into the common room and practically jumped on to the sofa next to Remus, "I have the best idea," he said
"I highly doubt that," Remus replied
"Well that's just rude Moony,"
"I know, come on then what's this idea of yours?"
"Turn all the Slytherin robes pink."
"No."
"What? why?"
"Well first of that prank is pathetic, we are in our 7th year now James be a little bit more creative also we're not going to turn them pink when there is a spell to turn them invisible, we can't get blamed for that and they will get in trouble for not wearing their robes."
"This. This is why you are part of the marauders."
"Thank you Prongs."
"Anytime, come on lets go and get Pads and Wormy."
"Do you know where they are?"
"Yep, they are putting a bucket of slime over old Sluggies door."
"Seriously?" Remus asked laughing
"Yeah, I mean it is Sirius." James replied with a strait face.
"I hate you. Its not funny,"
"Yeah it is."
"James it has been seven years it's not funny."
"What ever you say Moony."

As the four boys walked into the grate hall the next morning they saw that no Slytherins were at their table, Remus noticed McGonagall looking at them as they walked down to their seats but he just smiled and shrugged which made her narrow her eyes at him questionably. As the boys took their seats one of the Slytherin Prefects entered that hall without a robe. "Professor Slughorn, Sir, we have a problem in the dungeons."
"I think that might tell us where your house is Horace." Dumbledore said.
James, Peter and Sirius were dying of laughter but Remus just had a smirk on his face. "What have you three done?" McGonagall asked as she stood behind James and Sirius.
"Nothing." Sirius answered
"I don't believe that Mr. Black."
"He is serious Professor." Remus spoke up
"I know that,"
"No, I mean he is being serious, they did do anything, I did."
"It is good of you to cover for them Mr. Lupin but there is no need,"
"But professor-"
"Mr. Potter and Mr. Black I want you in my office tonight for detention." McGonagall said then turned and left the hall
"WHAT!"
"Unlucky boys,"
"Shut up Moony."
"What did I do?"
"You didn't get detention for your own prank."
"Not my fault."
"Hold on are you saying that these three didn't actually do anything?" Lily asked from where she was sitting, next to James.
"Yep." Remus said "I don't get it. Why does every Professor think I'm the golden child, I mean James is the one they made quidditch captain and head boy,"
"It is because you're never caught." Sirius said
"And when you are you blame it on us." Peter added
"True."

As the 7th year Gryffindor's and Ravenclaw's waited for their Defence professor to arrive Remus Lupin was missing, "Where is he?" Lily asked James for the 5th time?
"I don't know Lils he disappeared on our way here."
"He is going to get into trouble."
"I think that might be the point."
"What?"
"I think he wants to see how much trouble he will actually get in but I am only guessing." James answered as the Professor walked in giving a scan over the room.
"Does anyone know where Mr. Lupin is? Black, Potter, Pettigrew do you know where your friend is?"
"No sir." Sirius answered as James and Peter shook their heads.
"Well I am sure he will join us soon" He said as Remus was shoved into the room by Professor McGonagall
"My apologies for Mr. Lupins lateness," She said as Remus straitened his robe and took his seat on the other side of James. "A word Professor?"
"Of course."

"What in the name of Merlin just happened?" James asked
"Well it turns out that 'we' can get blamed for that prank because it can be traced back to me."
"How?" Sirius asked
"No idea, but I will be joining you three in detention tonight."
"I have to say Moony detention is more fun when it is all four of us."
"For you maybe, I still hate it."
"After all these years you would of thought that we were used to it by now." Peter said
"Mr. Lupin." Their Defence professor called as he re-entered "A word? the rest of you can start reading chapter 8 in your books."
"What've I don't now?" Remus muttered as he made his way out of the class room.

That is it sudden ending I know but who doesn't love a cliff hanger that won't be resolved.
