It's finally the day of Fairy Tail's 24 Hours Road Race and Erza and Bella were so excited. Both of them had waken up early in the morning. The three of them and a toddler walked to the park and Haruka wouldn't stop stomping her feet as she wanted to join the race.

"I would allow you, Haruka but I can't. It's too dangerous for you. But I'll win it for you, okay?" Haruka pouted her lips and nodded her head slowly. She then gave the brown haired girl a big kiss on her cheek as a good luck.

"I wouldn't be so confident, Rae." Erza smirked at her childhood friend as she stretched out. Rae shrugged her shoulders and cracked her head. She handed Haruka to Mirajane and asked her to take care of the toddler for a while.

Mirajane shook her head saying she was so happy that finally she could spend her time with the cutie. Rae bid Haruka goodbye and walked to the starting line with Bella trailing behind her. Apparently, Jet was the unbeatable titleholder for this road race.

Rae smiled softly seeing Natsu was fired up as he told her that he had a super secret weapon. The bat facepalmed when it's not exactly a secret since Rae could read minds and now she knew his strategy. He was intending to use his fire as boosts.

Rae shook her head and focused on Master as he gave a talk about the race. There were rules and the participants should follow them or else they will be disqualified. They will run as fast as they can from the starting line, then along the appointed course, heading to Mount Ivor.

They had to take one of Wyvern scales when they reached at the top of Mount Ivor and returned back within 24 hours. "Furthermore, I am imposing a new regulation this year at the urging of many, flying and teleportation magic are forbidden! Other than that, any type of magic is allowed!"

Rae dropped her jaw at the new rule and yelled at Master for changing the rule last minute. She narrowed her silver eyes when Master gave her a wave as a good luck. That old man! Rae looked at her partner with a shrug.

"Then, I guess I won't teleport and you won't fly. Fair and square." Bella flew down and stood on her feet, crossing her arms with a huff. The person who came in last will face a punishment of which there was nothing scarier on the planet. Rae shivered as she imagined what would the punishment be.

It's finally time to start. Rae took a stance and focused ahead with Bella on her right. "Levy, watch my start." Jet told the blue haired girl with a cocky smirk on his face. Rae let out a chuckle and told him to watch her start.

Jet gulped when he saw her dark glare and he swore he could feel goosebumps on his skin. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. "Go, mama!" The wizard saint heard Haruka's cheering from behind and that made her smile. Rae sped forward with her demon strength and she did leave the rest in the dust.

The brown haired girl chuckled and sped when she heard Jet yelling at her. Haruka clapped her hands and giggled seeing her mother was in the lead. Rae stifled a laugh when she heard Jet screaming at her to slow down.

The girl jumped when she saw there's a huge rock in front of her and before she could warn Jet, he had already collided with the rock. The brown haired girl laughed and continued running. Her ears perked on something was heading to her fast and she quickly reacted with her instinct.

The girl ducked her head and saw Jet was throwing her rocks. Now, they were almost reached at Mount Ivor. "Gomen, Rae, but only for today." The brown haired girl snickered and turned around. She froze the ground and Jet was having trouble to stay balanced.

He screamed at her and smirked as he got an idea. Jet grabbed her body and let out groans when the girl hit him on head. "Let me go. Ahh!" Rae shrieked when the speedster threw her away. "Jet, you baka!" She soon crashed into a body.
