The battle part of the third day of the Grand Magic Games was about to begin and the first match was between Millianna of Mermaid Heel and Semas of Quatro Puppy. Rae witnessed Semas spinning around and intending to hit Millianna with it. Millianna just dodged him easily as her body was quite small to jump. The girl used her binding tube to stop him but Semas was just too fast.

She was hit on the spot and she tried to attack him with her kitten blast. "Time to end this! Wild Spin, twice as fast!" Rae watched Millianna used her binding tube once again and wrapped it around him. She purposely led him to the wall and he was down instantly. It was a short match.

Rae clapped her hands for her winning and hardened her silver eyes when Chapati announced it was time for a battle between Rufus Lohr from Sabertooth and Eve of Blue Pegasus. "These two clashed during the competition of the first day and now they'll collide in battle on the third day!"

It's starting. Eve made the first move and sent white furies to his enemy. Memory Molding Magic, huh? Magic that gives form to memories. That's an ancient spell. In other words, Ancient Magic. Rae watched Rufus used Eve's memory to distract him and hit him on the back. "A star falls on the night!" Rufus sent a direct hit on Eve but it seemed he was attacking his copy made of snow.

Eve was standing behind him. Rae was quite impressed by Eve's quick thinking. Eve then cast his white blizzard to search for the location of Rufus's real body. He struck his real body but Rufus just dodged the attack. "I remember that magic. Memory Make, Rage of the Burning Earth!"

Suddenly, the arena was covered by heat and it was getting hot. Rae narrowed her eyes and saw lavas were appearing from the underground. She felt a powerful magic radiating from his body. Eve then was hit by a huge blow and laid on the ground, defeated.

"The match is over! Eve fought a good fight but he fell short of Rufus. The winner is Rufus of Sabertooth! He really is strong!" Rae couldn't help but admitted that Rufus guy was strong. Within the end of the match, Rae turned around to look at the blond guy.

"You're up next, right? Good luck, though you don't need that." The brown haired girl offered Laxus a soft smile. She stood on her toes and wrapped her arms around him. Laxus tensed up and hugged her back. He leaned down to place a kiss on her temple but then he suddenly remembered that girl wasn't his anymore.

He couldn't do it. A small smile crept up on his face as he pulled away quickly. Rae only looked at him with a question. "Tch, I don't need luck." The Lightning Dragon Slayer just put his hand on her head and ruffled her brown hair then walked into the field. Rae stared at his back longingly with something in her heart.

Why do I feel like something bad is happening? Probably, just my imagination.

"Moving right along, let's begin the third match-kabo! From Fairy Tail Team B, Laxus Dreyar! Versus Alexei of Raven Tail! There has been bad blood between father and son guilds since day one, right, Yajima-san?" Rae watched Laxus had a staring contest with Alexei.

Alexei? Who is he? The brown haired girl stood close to the balcony and narrowed her eyes at Raven Tail. Then, the match begun. "Oi, so you're in my old man's guild? Who the hell are you anyway--" Laxus was cut off by a punch on his face.

Rae widened her eyes and witnessed him was thrown back. Laxus was hit repeatedly by Alexei and Rae couldn't understand at all. Was he stronger than Laxus? "He's getting his ass kicked?" Cana let out a gasp, seeing Master's grandson was beaten up badly.

I don't believe it! Laxus, what's going on? Who the hell is that masked freak? Rae winced when she saw Laxus was punched hard by him. "My goodness! Alexei keeps pouring it on! Laxus can't even lift a finger!" Laxus laid on the ground, breathing heavily and that's an unbelievable sight.
