Opening her eyes to the call from her niece for breakfast, the blonde celestial spirit mage stretched her arms with a yawn and turned her head to the side, looking outside of the window to enjoy the beautiful scenery. She would take a bath and when she returned to the living room, her eyes were still hoping to see someone.

"Lu-chan, hurry up. We are going to be late!" Haruka called out to her as she was holding a pot of hot soup while Bella was cutting some fruits. The pink haired girl softened her eyes when she saw the older girl was trapped in a trance. She knew what she was thinking and Haruka hoped that her mother finished her matters as soon as possible.

Lucy shook her head frantically and slapped both of her cheeks. "Stop it! Come on, it's the beginning of a new morning!" The blonde girl twirled around and bid good morning to Haruka and the little bat. The three of them sat together at the table and ate their breakfast. Lucy took a sip of the soup and squealed at the perfect taste of it heated her tongue.

"Haruka, this is so delicious!"

"Of course, mama taught me the recipe!"

Lucy dropped her spoon and Haruka winced at her mistake. The bat only let out a sigh and told both girls to hurry up or else they will be late. Haruka nodded vigorously and finished her breakfast while the blonde girl was still lost in her mind. She's the last one to finish it and the girl offered to wash the dishes.

They did some stretching together and laughed loudly when Bella lost her balance and fell flat on her face. Haruka giggled at her small friend, saying that's what she got when she ate too many. Bella covered her bump and pouted her lips, crying to Lucy. The blonde girl patted her head gently and got ready for the day.

One year after the battle with Tartaros, the girls had moved to Crocus to start a new life. Everyone else did the same. The three of them were headed to Domas Flau for the Grand Magic Games. Lucy worked as an editor for the Weekly Sorcerer and Haruka and Bella were her apprentices.

Right after the disbandment of Fairy Tail, her sister suddenly set out on her matters, leaving Haruka and Bella under her care. Lucy couldn't accept any of it as Natsu and Happy also left for a journey. She was depressed for a while, but it's only a matter of time. Everyone else started off on their separate ways too. They were surprisingly positive about starting down another path.

Maybe they realized Master's true intent. I have to go down my own path too. After I came to that conclusion, Jason-senpai offered me work as a pinup model and after lots of struggles, I finally become a reporter. With Haruka and Bella here, I have nothing to worry. I'm not alone. Haruka is only twelve and to live alone without her mother must have been hard for her. That's why I need to be strong for her.

"Jason-senpai, about our another pinup, could you reschedule it? I want to watch the finale!" Haruka and Bella gave him puppy eyes while puffing their cheeks. Jason averted his eyes and his face grew red then he eventually exploded with his 'cool cool' moments. Lucy rolled her eyes at them as Haruka and Bella bounced on their feet when he agreed.

As they were walking to the seats, somehow Lucy felt a familiar presence passed her by. Her head turned swiftly, seeing a figure wearing a cloak and an enormous amount of magic power emanated from them. She swallowed her saliva hard with her hand reached out to tug their hand but then, the cloaked figure faded in the crowd. She bit her lip anxiously.

"But still-this year's Grand Magic Games lack oomph, you know? Kinda boring. No Sabertooth, Lamia Scale, Mermaid Heel." Jason let out a sigh and crossed his arms.

Bella nodded her head, adding Blue Pegasus and Quatro Cerberus to the list. Jason glanced at the girls and sneakily added Fairy Tail. Haruka smiled awkwardly, rubbing the back of her head, saying it didn't exist anymore. His eyes fixated on the crest on the back of her hand, asking her if that was a fake one.
