"How are Laxus and the others?" Master Makarov asked the healer of Fairy Tail with such worried tone as his eyes settled on his children. Yajima, Freed, Bickslow, Evergreen were affected by powerful poison from Tempester, one of the Nine Demon Gates and Laxus was the worst as he inhaled the particles to not let anyone died.

The particles were spread in the town and the Thunder Dragon Slayer was determined to save them, resulting him in the worst condition. "They are alive, however, their bodies were permeated with magic barrier particles. Even a small ingested amount is known to be poisonous, possibly fatal. I don't know if they'll make a full recovery. The contamination is really bad in Laxus's body. So much, that it's a miracle he's still alive."

Knowing she gave them an answer that didn't satisfy their minds, Porlyusica only ended her words with a sigh. "Master." Freed suddenly opened his eyes and called out for the old man. Groaning in pain, he asked him if the town was saved. Master Makarov clenched his fists and nodded his head slowly, watching Freed smiled to himself in relief. He had no choice.

Freed cried silently and eventually fell asleep with the mark of poison stained his skin. "Rae-" Everyone could hear Laxus mumbling the name in his sleep as he let out groans at the pain. Haruka and Bella widened their eyes, remembering the wizard saint who was a member of the Magic Council. They quickly asked everyone if they heard anything about any survivor in the explosion. Lucy frantically turned around and asked Warren if he got anything. The man shook his head, saying there's no survivor in that explosion.

All of them had died. Gran Doma, Org, Lahar. "No! She wouldn't be dead!" The Fire Dragon Slayer slammed his hand on the wall, looking at every single face with cold eyes. He kept on glaring at nothing and Happy just lowered his head in sadness. Haruka's eyes started to glisten and her body dropped to the floor. Wendy quickly wrapped her arms around her friend to keep her calm. Lucy shook her head, kept on saying her sister was alive.

Gray just leaned against the wall and closed his eyes, seeing a certain girl laughing at him in his mind. Unconsciously, his fists clenched together and his heart started to ask questions. Did she really leave him? Did she really leave her family? Everyone was washed by anger, feeling rage towards Tartaros for hurting their friends, the town, for killing the Magic Council.

Then, a loud slam sound was heard and everybody turned their heads to the door, gasping at the sight of the Dark Enchantress standing there with her clothes shredded in pieces. Wounds were everywhere and her usual flawless skin was covered in blood. Gray stared at her face and noticed there were dark circles under her eyes, just like Laxus and other affected guys. Haruka's breath hitched and her feet quickly made way to the mother.

Her hands clutched the jacket and she put her face on Rae's stomach, hugging her tightly. "You're here." Rae just hid her wince and smiled slightly at her daughter.

"I promised you, didn't I? I won't ever leave you." Lucy wiped her tears and hugged her sister, crying in her neck, yelling at her sister for making her worried. Rae apologized to everyone and assured she was alright. Then, her silver eyes trailed to mages on the bed, lying almost lifelessly. The blonde girl walked to them and put a hand on Evergreen's forehead. She's burning up.

Her eyes narrowed at the particles she sensed in her body. The wizard saint cleared her throat and put her hand on Evergreen's cheek. Porlyusica hardened her gaze and warned the girl not to do anything careless as her condition was already critical. The old woman snapped at her and pulled her hand to stop her. "I can save them!" Rae smacked her hand away angrily and closed her eyes.

Slowly, everyone in the room could see veins started to appear on Evergreen's skin and move to Rae's body. She's taking the poison. Bella gazed at the girl worriedly, clearly she's concerned with her well-being. After a while, the dark circles under Evergreen's eyes faded away and Porlyusica quickly checked her. The old woman took her wrist and felt her heartbeat. "She's safe." Master Makarov let out a relieved sigh and watched Rae moved to the next person.
