After long hours of walking since they reached the shore, they found themselves in the middle of a desert. Happy and Natsu were whining like kids, complaining how much longer did they have to walk. Bella shook her head in disapproval and hit both of them on heads.

Seeing them worn out, Michelle decided to prepare a meal for everyone, giving some joy for Natsu and Happy. They all sat down and the dark blonde girl gave Haruka a sandwich. Haruka thanked her and took a bite on it. Rae gave Bella her fruits and they sat there for a while.

"Hey, there is something's shining." Romeo shouted, pointing ahead.

Natsu turned around too fast with a sandwich hanging in his mouth and suddenly, the boy did choke on his sandwich. Happy quickly patted him on the back. Bella shook her head at the children and followed Rae, trailing behind her.

It was some kind of device and there was a keyhole on it. Natsu being the idiot he was, the fire dragon slayer hit it with his magic and he let out a yell when his hand burnt. Looked like magic didn't work on it. Rae furrowed her eyebrow and built a key using her shadow magic.

She tried to open it and surprisingly it kinda worked. But then, the ground suddenly had shaken and Rae definitely had a bad feeling about that. The ground crumbled and all of them fell into the abyss. Rae quickly used her telekinetic power and saved her friends from injuring themselves.

"Thank you, mama!" Haruka exclaimed while letting out a laugh when she saw Natsu and Romeo were playing around as both of them did find some entertainment in floating in the air.

Rae brought them to the ground gently and rolled her eyes when the boys were pouting because their fun was stopped. They were trapped under the desert and Rae saw a door ahead. Same as before, magic didn't work on it. And this one didn't have a keyhole.

"When it comes to solving a puzzle like, leave it to me! It probably opens when you say the right magic words. I'll start with the cliche. Open sesame!" Rae watched her sister tried to open the door with some magic words but definitely failed badly.

Then, everyone started to yell some words and Rae hit her forehead when she heard Bella and Haruka were only thinking about food. Rae looked at a certain young boy and asked him if he didn't want to try.

Romeo shrugged and asked the door to open politely. Rae held a smirk on her face when the door was opened and she let out a triumph snicker, walking ahead. The girl shared a laugh with the young boy. Then, they found themselves trapped in another room.

There was a mark of Zentopia on the ground and Rae knew that those ruins on the wall were called the Sacred Graveyard. It's written about in Zentopia history books and various other documents, but it's existence had never been proved. She might need to tell the Magic Council about that.

Lucy then decided to turn a stone of Zentopia's mark placed in the middle. "Lucy, are you sure about this? I mean, I really do have a bad feeling about this." The celestial spirit mage assured her sister and told her it's fine as she knew what would she do.

Said, it was similar to an adventure novel she had read and a hidden door would open. The door did open but there's something else. There were grotesques in the doors and they were moving. They were trapped now.

They were going to be squished. Haruka stood closer to her mother and held Rae's leather jacket. "Light Magic: Guarding Sphere." Rae muttered under her breath and formed a magic sphere. She told the rest to stood close to her as she couldn't make it bigger.

The grotesques were getting closer and a few seconds later, they went back in. Romeo and Haruka breathed out in relief simultaneously. "That was close. But, maybe we should turn this the opposite way!" Lucy gave them a sheepish smile and once again she turned the stone.
