''Are you sure it was wise to give Taylor the keys to your car?'' Marshall asked as Jodie slid into the passenger seat next to him.

''Yes and it's our car, Marshall, like the house is our house,'' Jodie corrected him, but Marshall still wasn't so sure that giving Taylor the keys was the best idea. The last time he'd met Taylor at the club Jodie had to take her home because she was extremely drunk and under the influence too. He thought to discuss what he was thinking to Jodie, but he didn't want her to think he was fixating on the issue so he kept his mouth shut.

''Ok sorry,'' he muttered before placing his keys into the ignition and pulling out onto the road. Looking over at Jodie he noticed her daydreamingly looking out of the passenger side window. Shrugging figuring it wouldn't bother her much he switched on the radio and let the music filter through the car.

''Sooo...'' Marshall rose his eyebrows glancing over at her as Jodie draw out the word.

''So what?'' He asked his eyes now focused back on the road.

''What are we gonna get for dinner?'' Marshall blinked a couple of times, he'd expected her to make a comment about the music he had playing. Normally when he took dates out in his car they'd complain about the way all he'd play was 'old and boring music,' which confused the hell out of him because how clueless could they be about the type of music he likes.

''Really that's your question, can't we figure out that when I get ya back to mine then we can order something.''

''But I'm hungry now,'' she was pouting now, it was a little hard for him not to notice it because she'd deiced to turn in her seat so she was constantly looking at him.

''Fine,'' he sighed, ''where do you wanna go?''

''Hmm I really want pizza so how about I order it now and it should be at your's by the time we get there,'' Marshall frowned, they weren't far from his house anyway.

''What do you mean we ain't far,'' he pointed out a little confused as he kept one hand on the steering wheel to dig in his pocket for his phone, ''order on mine I got an account with this place,'' Jodie didn't argue and took the phone from him, but didn't dial.

''Could you stop at the next gas station please?'' He nodded, a little confused by her request, but he didn't question her; mainly because she was now on the phone. The only other thing she said to him was what he wanted on the Pizza.

The next gas station crept upon them a couple of minutes later and as requested he pulled up into one of the empty spaces around the back. He watched her as she silently shuffled around undoing her seatbelt and grabbing her bag.

''I'll be back in a second,'' before he could as her what she was doing the door slammed shut leaving him to slump down into his seat. It was only when he was alone that he realised he'd left Denaun in one of the booths at the club.

''Fuck.''

Jodie glanced behind her before she pushed the door open to the little convenient store. She pulled her back closer to her as she paced a group of hoddie clad teenagers, who didn't care for her anyway.

She made her way through the store until she got to the bathroom. Knocking on the door she sighed in relief when she found that it was empty. As quickly as she could Jodie shut and locked the door. Dropping her back to the floor she just made it in time to lift the lid and spill the contents of her stomach in the bowl.

Jodie groaned as she rested her head on the bathroom wall. Her legs sprawled across the floor in front of her, her glasses sat on top of her head keeping her hair from falling across her sweaty features. She had no idea why the nausea has suddenly hit her, she had put it down to her being hungry, but when she started talking to Marshall she could feel the bile clawing at her throat.

Thinking of Marshall Jodie realised that she needed to take him. Of course, she had no idea how long she had been in the bathroom for and she knew he'd be freaking out because she hadn't told him why she wanted to stop at the station.

So placing her glasses back correctly on her face she picked up her phone she went to text him.

Marshall was beginning to worry, he liked to describe him self as a patient man when it came to waiting for someone. The problem now, however, was that Jodie was taking a while and the shop was near enough empty. He was about to go inside when he got her text and he was out of the car like a shot.

He squeezed his way through the group of teenagers keeping his hood up and trying not to look at them. If one of them recognised him now then there was no telling how long Jodie would be stuck in the bathroom before he escaped them.

''Jodie,'' he called knocking on the door. He heard shuffling coming from the other side and the click of the lock as the door swung open.

''I would have told you, but I didn't want to throw up all over your car,'' she explained sheepishly glancing down at the floor.

''It's ok,'' he replied grabbing a hold of her hands and pulling her towards him so she was no longer stood in the doorway. He didn't say anything as he pulled her close so he could hug her. They stood like that for a while before he pulled away kissing her on the forehead. He was glad that she'd didn't look as pale as she had been when she'd first opened the door to him.

''We weren't far from my house I told you that,'' he pointed out. He was angry at her, there was really no reason for him to be, but she acted as if seeing her being sick would make him disappear.

''I know I'm sorry I didn't actually know how for was not far and I could just feel it. Look it doesn't matter now let's get going,'' she waved her hands about ushering out of her way and back out of the store.

''You good?'' He questioned as he watched her buckle herself back in.

''Yeah a little hungry though,'' she smiled at him and he shook his head as his own smile crept across his features.
