''Ok, never let Taylor shop for you again, like what the fuck?'' Jodie stood open-mouthed as one of his security guards carried several packages and boxes to rest on the front porch. All the clothes Taylor had ordered for Jodie seemed to have arrived and Marshall was astonished at how much there was.
''I...I had no idea,'' if she wasn't balancing on her crutches then she would have held her hands up in mock surrender, but she settled instead with a shrug, ''how much did she spend exactly?'' She then asked watching Marshall and his security carry the parcels into the living room since she couldn't help.
''About Two Hundred Dollars more or less,'' Marshall shrugged, dropping the majority of the packages in the middle of his carpeted living room. The way he shrugged made it seem as if it was a big deal. Although Jodie had other ideas about the amount of money that had been unknowingly spent on her.
''I'll send some of this...'' However, she couldn't finish her sentence, but the stare Marshall gave her seemed to tell her not to and so instead she shrunk back, staying quiet. In fact, she sat herself down on the sofa as the last boxes were brought in and this time placed neatly on the coffee table.
''So er, where do ya wanna start?'' Marshall asked as he slumped down in the space next to her. The question left Jodie scratching her brain because in truth she had no idea and part of her didn't even want to open any of it; scared of what Taylor had ordered for her.
''I er... Maybe the boxes?'' It was more of a question than a definite answer, but Marshall seemed to not have noticed or just wanted to get rid of the mail that littered his living room at that very moment because he picked up one of the boxes that had been placed on the coffee table and gave it to her.
''Go on open it. I'm just as intrigued as you,'' Marshall commented as she took it from his hand and looked it over in her own hands.
Carefully, because she had no idea if what was inside fragile or not, she peeled the tap from one side to the other. After peeling the tap she rolled it up into a ball a placed it next to her on the sofa; it might come in handy if Marshall decided to turn into a child and play with the bubble wrap that she saw peeking out of the box now she'd folded the edges back (Jodie hated the sound of popping bubble wrap and nobody, not even she really understood why).
''It's a purse,'' Jodie described it as Marshall just stared, handbags, purses and high heels weren't really his strong points when it came to accessories; he was more about the trainers, watches and t-shirts with his favourite artists on them.
''Open this one now,'' Marshall thrust another box in front of her, this one from the floor by his feet. Jodie rolled her eyes, obviously, the purse hadn't been all that exciting for him.

''So what do you think?'' Jodie asked, licking the ice cream off her spoon as she and Marshall looked at all the clothes and shoes, mixed with cardboard and packaging that currently swarmed the floor around them.
''Most of this shit I'm not letting you wear unless it's around me,'' Marshall stated bluntly picking up a tube top that would just about cover more than Jodie's breasts.
''I don't think I'd ever wear that anyway,'' Jodie giggle as it pinged across the room because of the way Marshall had been holding it, ''You got nothing to worry about, I mean I don't think I'd wear half this clothes I have no idea what Taylor was thinking,'' Jodie added as she picked up a dress that would have showed a little too much than what she would normally be comfortable with.
''Did Taylor order everything to come here, I'm only saying cause some of this ain't even the same size like,'' Marshall held up two t-shirts one was clearly a little bigger than the other. It was only after he had made the comment that Jodie realised he may have been right.
''Hang let me call her,'' she held her finger up telling him to wait for a second as she snatched her phone from the coffee table at searched through her contacts till she hit Taylor.
''Jo is everything ok, you don't normally ring me?'' Taylor's voice filtered through the living room due to Jodie having her on speaker.
''Everything ok, but um all the stuff you ordered arrived and I was wondering if some of it might be yours?'' Jodie asked biting her lip in anticipation for her friend's answer.
''Oh shit yeah, I ordered a couple of extra things while ordering you'rs. I can come to sort it out now if you want?''
''Please do I want my living room back,'' Marshall cut in before Jodie could reply.
''Alright Mr Eminem I'll be over it a bit, don't lose your temper now will you,'' Taylor hung up bother Marshall could snap back at her.
''I hate your friends, you know that right?'' Marshall commented as Jodie locked her phone.
''Hmm and they hate you too,'' Jodie replied sticking her tongue out at him before she went back to sorting through the clothes seeing if she could figure out by size what products were actually meant for Taylor.
When Taylor finally showed up she had a black eye and settling whose clothes were whose was but on the back burner. When Marshall opened the door to her he was lost for words.
''What the fuck happened to you?''
''I don't want to talk about, so how about I get my clothes and leave,'' She tried to push past him to enter the house but he stopped her.
''Nah you're gonna tell me why you've shown up to my door with a fresh black eye, cause there's no way Jodie ain't gonna ask either,'' with no room to argue Taylor sighed promising to tell them both if he let her in. He did.
