''Fuck,'' Marshall groaned as Jodie climbed off of him to lay down next to him. It took a moment for both of them to regain their breath so they could speak again.
''Sorry, maybe that was a bit much,'' Jodie bit her lip as she looked over at Marshall, his chest rising and falling as he was still a little breathless.
''Don't ever apologise again Jo, that was incredible,'' she blushed, pulling her hair in front of her face to hide behind, ''don't do that either,'' Marshall caught Jodies's wrist halfway, flicking her hair back over her shoulder so it rested along her back.
''Fine,'' she huffed, shuffling closer to him so her hand came to rest on his chest, ''could I at least have my glasses back, 'cause you're looking like a blurry teddy bear right now,'' Jodie giggled as he sighed, but on request, he twisted around to retrieve her glasses from the nightstand she'd managed to fling them onto in haste earlier.
''No,'' he swatted her hand away as she went to reach for them, ''I can put them on for you,'' Jodie pouted.
''You know I can see well enough to put my own glasses on right,'' she pointed out as he jammed them on her face, one of the arms near enough ended up in her ear.
''Shit, why did that go so wrong,'' Marshall held back a chuckle as he watched her short out the mess he had created.
''Well that's the last time we have sex,'' Jodie spoke with a serious face, but within seconds her facade had cracked and she was giggling again.
''Give me a heart attack why don't you?'' Marshall teased his hand falling across her face to brush her cheek.
''Now I would never do that to you, on purpose of course,'' she smiled, leaning forward to kiss him. Instantly the kiss became heated again and Jodie had to pull away before they repeated what they had done only minutes ago. It was already beginning to get late and she needed to get ready for work unless she rung in sick that was because then she could stay.
''Yo Jo, '' Jodie blinked a couple of times, unaware that Marshall had been trying to get her attention. He had resulted in poking her on the arm to finally get her to focus on him.
''Yeah, sorry I'm listening,'' he rose an eyebrow, questioning if she really was, ''what I am, speak goddammit,'' Marshall chuckled at her clearly hyped up tone.
''I wanted to ask if you were hungry? Cause I think I got some burgers in the fridge I was gonna have anyway,'' Jodie now had to options, stay with Marshall for the rest of the night and not go to work or say no to Marshall, go home and get ready for work. As she looked over at Marshall's pouting face staring at her, Jodie realised he'd made the decision for her.
''Yeah I'll stay. Let me just tell my Dad I won't be at work and Taylor too so she won't worry about me ok,'' Marshall nodded lifting himself off the bed to put his clothes back on. He left Jodie alone as he went down to start cooking.
Meanwhile, Jodie grabbed her jeans, searching through her pockets for her phone. Once found she immediately rung her father, using the excuse that Blink needed watching overdue to the vets orders. He believed her straight away, mainly because she'd excused herself a couple of hours ago to supposedly pick Blink up from the vet. Next, she called Taylor, who she couldn't exactly lie too because Blink was in her house at that very second.
''Oooh, have fun Joey,'' Taylor giggled and teased after Jodie told her why she wouldn't be at the club that evening.
Sighing she, finally decided to get dressed. Well by getting dressed, she shifted through Marshall's wardrobe pulling out a pullover hoodie that looked to comfy to pass up. So throwing it on, she made her way downstairs where the smell of burgers wafted up from the kitchen. She used her nose, following the smell like a trail to find her way to the kitchen.
''Smells good,'' she'd wrapped her arms around his waist. Unfortunately, she wasn't tall enough peek over his shoulder so she settled for moving her head round to look around his side instead.
''Did you go through my wardrobe missy?'' Marshall spoke sternly noticing the jumper she was wearing immediately, partly because one it was all she was wearing and too it swamped her tiny frame.
''Maybe,'' her cheeks flushed red again for what felt like the thousandth time since she'd been with him. Despite the fact that Jodie hated blushing all the time, Marshall found it rather adorable.
''You can't keep it,'' now Jodie could tell with that comment he was being serious and she expected nothing less from him. She was always going to leave it behind before she left anyway.
''Don't worry I'm not about stealing my boyfriend's clothes. Although I will with every chance I get I will wear his clothes around his own house,'' she pulled herself away from him and shrugged as Marshall flipped the burgers over for the last time.
''I suggest if ya wanna eat you get the rolls out the bread bin and the salad out the fridge, otherwise Imma just eat these now,'' Marshall smirked as he watched Jodie scuttle around the kitchen in his hoodie to find what he had asked for. He sighed contently realising that he hadn't felt the happiness he'd felt in that second for a long time.

''Yo Marshall ya listening to me man,'' Marshall sat alert his seat at the sound of Denaun's raised voice towards him.
''Man did you really need to shout at me,'' he groaned picking his notebook up off the floor after he'd dropped it when Porter had brought him out of his daydream. He'd been thinking about the night before and how perfect it had all been. Even if he was aware that Jodie's sudden drive for sex had been because she was pissed. He'd seen it in her eyes the second he's opened the door to her. Marshall was worried she was mad at him because well if she was he would have been the last person she would have gone to. Never the less it got him thinking as to who or what has upset Jodie so much last night.
''I mean ya weren't listening to me and you had some goofy smile on ya face so care to explain?'' Denuan rose his eyebrows as Marshall ran his hands down his face, debating whether to divulge the details of last night with him.
''You speak to Jodie this morning?'' He questioned instead, wondering if she'd told Porter.
''Yeah, so was pretty much the happiest I've seen her so Imma go with she was with you last not and ya both got some,'' Marshall smirked, nodding before he could stop himself, ''I knew it you lucky motherfucker,'' this time Marshall shook his head and zoned out for a bit as Denuan continued to tease him.
It wasn't until Royce turned up that his full attention was back on the room. Not because he was on about the track they were yet to record, but about the weird conversation he'd just had with someone Marshall hated.
''So Joe was talking to me last night and I wasn't really listening, but then he started talking about Jodie,'' Ryan had sat down on one of the chairs closest to Marshall and was looking over at him gaging his reaction.
''Well at least I now know who she was pissed at,'' he muttered causing his friends to raise their eyebrows at him, ''What you mentioned buttface brought her up and she was pissed at something yesterday and he's pretty fucking annoying so...'' Marshall trailed off, noticing Royce's reaction change into that of surprise, ''tell me I'm wrong, tell me Joe didn't talk to her yesterday.''
''Man, you should be a detective or some shit cause...''
''I don't wanna hear it you just tell em to stay away from my girl or he'll get more than just a tap on my album,'' Marshall's aggressive tone changed the atmosphere of the room completely, Denaun had shrunk back into his chair while Royce visibly gulped.
''I'll let him know,'' Royce muttered just loud enough for Marshall to hear, who nodded in response.
''Good.''
