Tessa was sleeping most of the time, so it took Thor a while to visit her when she was awake.
Of course, he could have just waken her up, but that seemed rude to him, especially since Tony told him a lot of sleep would make her wound heal faster.
He wanted to know if Loki manipulated her, and to be sure that he did not, he had to check her eyes.
When he came in, without knocking of course, Tessa was still sleeping. Or again. Thor found no pattern behind it, not that he tried to.
Slowly he entered the room, silently closing the door behind him, wondering why he felt like he did something forbidden.
Tessa tried to turn around in her sleep, probably wanting to get rid of the blanket over her, but was stopped by the blue light around her wrists.
She sighed and shook her head, before waking up slowly, a big yawn escaping her mouth. She seemed relaxed and calm, before she opened her eyes completely to look up at Thor with a shocked face expression.
„Hello.", Thor said, staring directly into her eyes, noticing the dark, almost blackish brown.
She cringed, as he kept staring into her eyes, deeply, searching.
„What... who are you? Are you... Cap?", Tessa asked, immediately sitting up a bit, trying to flee his glance by looking to the side.
This could not mean anything good, Tessa decided. She noticed how that man looked at her like she was his mission, and shifted once again under that piercing stare.
He laughed at her question wholeheartedly, shaking his head.
„No, I am Thor. I am here to make sure, Loki did not harm you permanently. Apologies for the stab wound... he can be mean sometimes. Now, may I?", he asked, flashing her a toothy smile.
So, this was Thor. What did Loki say about him? She should feed his ego, compliment him to gain his trust. Tessa wanted to say no, but nodded eventually. She had to be sure, they trusted her.
„Sure... yeah, why not?", she awkwardly agreed, trying to read Thor.
He was the God of Thunder, and he was older than Loki. Thor was vacant in his brother's eyes and let himself be consumed by his feelings, especially his anger. And he likes snakes. That is all, Loki ever told her about Thor.
„So... what should I do? I can barely move, because as you can see my wrists and feet are tied up and my stomach still hurts, so it's probably not a good idea to stand up, but if I need to do that in order to make sure I'm not... what did you say? Permanently harmed? Yes. Yes, that was what you said. Yeah, if it's necessary to check that, I'm sure I will be able to stand up. You can turn off these blue lighty things with that button over there, that round, black one with the blue ring around it. Pretty obvious actually, now that I think about it. I watched Tony and Helen do that a couple of times when I needed to go to the bathroom, that is the only time I'm allowed to stand up, you know? Because lying around helps me healing, Helen said. So, ehm, what should I do? Just tell me and I can... stop babbling.", she said, looking down at her hands for a moment before glancing up at Thor, smiling victoriously because he seemed to be amused.
Thor smiled at her, somewhat encouraging, before he pressed that button to which she immediately sat up a bit. Now, she would do as he told her, because then he would trust her and she could fulfill her assignment.
„You just need to look at me. Your name is Tessa, right?", Thor asked, searching through her eyes to notice anything he could link to the use of magic.
