Mia

We were sitting in Ashton and I's living room. Zaria made herself present and it shocked me the most. She seemed so mature. Her hair was straight down and past her shoulders. She wore a black long sleeve shirt, black jeans and some expensive boots. Her beauty was undeniably present.

Asher lounged on my love seat. I think he knew it was mine because he seemed to throw me a smirk every once in a while. I rolled my eyes in response because he was a jerk and I knew if I wasn't a vampire he would kill me.

Mike and Roman were here too, but I personally thought their presence was pointless. They really couldn't do anything. Mike was a egotistic jock and Roman was just his bestfriend and a charity case. They both were my friends but I'm pretty sure that before Ashton took an interest in me they cared nothing for me.

Ashton was calling all the shots, mainly because it was her boyfriend's town. Also because people feared her the most. Asher was menacing but Ashton was scarier.

"Big sister, how gorgeous you are." Asher threw Zaria a smile. She rolled her eyes.

"What's going on? Mother knows you're home and you have yet to see her." She snarled, her green eyes full of anger.

"I guess Ashton is the only one who loves me here." Asher rolled his eyes. He looked at me with pouty lips.

I stood and exited the room heading towards the kitchen. Our fridge had a false bottom where we kept blood bags. I reached for one and I felt a hand on my hip.

My body shot up straight as I looked to see who it was. Asher smiled as he had his hands around my hips.

"Really soft skin for a vampire." He whispered, his hands going up my sides under my shirt. I knew he was smirking, even in the dark.

"Asher move." I tried to sound uninterested but God knows I was. I couldn't stop thinking about his hand son my skin. He smiled again at my fake attempt.

"I know you're interested." He leaned forward kissing the nape of my neck. Electricity shot through my body.

"No." I whispered pushing him off of me. His back slammed into the counter and I turned around to close the refrigerator.

I don't know how long I can fight him off, his attempts were so powerful.

"Mia stop fighting me." Asher turned me around, slamming me into the metal of the fridge. His lips were on mine and it felt wonderful.

Elijah.

I couldn't think about him right now. I don't even think Elijah was capable of this kind of pleasure. Asher lifted me up by my thighs and sat me on the counter. His hands reached down to my shirt pulling it up over my head. He planted kisses all over my stomach and shoulders.

The pleasure of his lips were just too much for me. I tried to be as quiet as possible. We were in the dark.

"Mia, I want you." He was looking into my eyes at this point. His gaze full of lust.

I bit my lip, unable to look away. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him closer to me. My lips were glued to his skin. I couldn't resist it I wanted him too.

This was bad, I needed Elijah.

I leaned back from Asher. He looked at me with eyes full of so many emotions. "Mia?" He said my name with so much... Love?

"I can't, Elijah-"

"He doesn't even have interest in you. Not like me." He held my face in his hands. I shook my head trying to avoid those big green eyes.

"I can't," I squeezed my eyes shut.

"You can, don't do this Mia." Asher kissed all over my face. I was surprised by his romantic notions, he was a murderer he didn't have a heart.

I shook my head sliding off the counter to my feet. He stood against me not moving. His eyes searched mine but I didn't say anything. After a long moment of silence he disappeared into the other room. I searched for my shirt and pulled it over my head.

It took a while to gain my composure. I was overwhelmed with passion from Asher. He made me feel a level of passion I never did before.

Once I walked in the other room no one looked up but Elijah. He didn't smile he just stared. I sat in my chair, noticing how Asher lounged by the window away from everyone.

"Why did you come back? No one here needs your presence you're a monster." Elijah snapped at him.

"Where is all of this anger coming from? I'm trying to help for once. I can really help Michel-"

"Go wherever you came from you monster."

"Wait, he is your brother. Elijah you're being a bit dramatic." I chimed in because no one else would. He was a monster, wild with rage. No matter what Asher did, they were family and with the circumstances they needed Asher.

"You don't know anything about him. You're stupid and a child. This is none of your business Mia." He snapped at me. I froze, staring at him.

I can't believe he just said that to me. My face turned red and I glared at him.

"You asshole-"

"No Mia I got this." Ashton stood up and glared at Elijah. "You do not talk to her like that. Older brother or not you are out of line. Everyone get the hell out." She snapped. I stormed out of the room in anger.

I feel so stupid, I pushed Asher away because I was so convinced that Elijah was interested. Asher was right. I feel so stupid. And now I couldn't even have Asher.

I sat in my room crying my eyes out. Why was I so emotional over a jerk? He was disrespectful and didn't deserve my tears.

"Mia." Ashton's voice came from my door. She walked in and sat on the edge of my bed.

I looked up and she had a concerned look on her face. "Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine." I lied. She frowned.

"I know you're lying. It's okay to feel that way, he was a dick. He won't come here ever again. I don't understand why he is so consumed with anger." She shook her head.

"Thanks, for taking up for me." I gave her a smile.

"Of course," she smiled briefly before standing to leave. "By the way, I know Asher fancies you." She chuckled. "You don't want to get caught in a love triangle with my brothers. It won't end pretty."

"Trust me, I won't."

It was a lie and we both knew it.
