Once Roman left I went up to my room. I kept the letter close to my chest.
My mother was my only reason for existence. I love her so much. Although I act like I don't care, she was my heart. And killing Candice's aunt wasn't enough for me. I wanted her blood.
I sat on the foot of my bed staring at the letter with my name on it. What if my mother told me off in her last words? She never cursed but I had a feeling when it came to Asher and me she had a mouthful.
"Read it my love." I turned at the voice. He stood in the doorway that lead to my balcony. His figure was tall and I could see every feature on his face. His gleaming crystal blue eyes, square jaw, white devilish smile and soft expression.
"Who are you?" I ask unable to familiarize his face. He frowned, moving towards me.
I wasn't scared because I would simply kill him. "Michel." He smiled wickedly. I paused.
"You're the one who has been stripping me of my memories. What else have you taken?" I spat angrily.
"I'm sorry my love, I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." He got closer.
"Gianni-"
"Oh, I know now. You've met my young brother. I can assure you that you have the wrong idea about Gianni." He sat on my bed as if he was so comfortable there. "First of all, I only ever took your memories away for safety reasons," he cocked his head to the side, "and for suspenseful purposes." He smiled again.
"Suspenseful?" I squint at him.
"Darling you have met me before. I know you're dying to know. I'm dying to tell you." He frowned reaching out for my hand. I snatched it back. "The only way you can get your memory back is love. You have to love me, to need and want me. Do you?"
"No." I gritted my teeth at him.
"I'll just have to woo you." He chuckled.
"Well answer me this, why did you save my life?"
"Because I love you. More than you can fathom. I couldn't let you die." He explained. The words gave me a feeling in my stomach. "I know you love Roman. But understand that he can never give you what I can." He stood and came closer, his lips at my ear. "I can make you scream. I can protect you. I won't make any mistakes. You're already mine. And I always get what I want."
"And what is it that you want?" I test. His hands reach out to touch my waist. He pulled me against his frame. His face was just inches from mine, and I felt my heart beat fast.
"You. Ashton I want you. Every piece and part of you, I want you. I need you." He leaned forward, his lips brushing my nose slightly. He pressed them against my forehead. "I love you. You don't understand. And unfortunately you can't get your memory back until you feel the same way I feel."
I stared up into those big crystal eyes, the same ones Roman had. The ones I loved so much.
He turned to leave but I grabbed his hand. "Wait, erm. I don't want you to go." I felt myself giving in to him.
He wasn't cocky, he was mature and allowed me to pull him back to me. He stared at my eyes, searching. "Why?"
"You saved my life, I think I owe you at least one night of fun. Let's go." I took his hand and we left.
