I didn't know what to do.

I loved Ashton so much I couldn't be without her. But there was a stalemate in our relationship. I only wanted to be with her but she was occupied by Michel. She didn't show any real interest in getting back together and that hurt.

I was going to avoid her forever. I couldn't be prisoner to her love.

So while she played house with Michel I was out worrying about myself. It's junior year and I have no idea what college I want to go to. I know I want to go and I want to be a doctor just like Adrianna. We have enough money for me to go to college too, more than enough our parents were loaded.

I sat in Adrianna's office looking through the college brochures. I've been here all morning trying to decide.

Adrianna's intern friend walked in, I found out her name was Madison. She was a nice bony girl with nice black hair that came down to her chin. She wore square glasses and had brown eyes. I've always thought brown eyes were plain because I was so in love with Ashton's. But Madison was quite pretty, although she could never top Ashton.

"What's all the noise and frustration about?" She asked referring to my loud sighs and grunts.

I sighed, "I'm trying to decide what college I want to attend. I want to stay close to Adrianna but I'm not sure."

"So go to San Fran." She suggested. I shrugged, it seemed so far. But I just didn't want to leave Ashton in Noland Falls. I just couldn't get over her.

"Is it the redhead?" Her question took me by surprise. My head snapped in her direction.

"Redhead?"

"She had the accent, she's gorgeous." She said with a soft voice. "How long have you two been dating?"

"Uh- we aren't dating. She's just someone special." I tried to sound nonchalant about it but it was Ashton. I always felt a certain way talking about her. "Well what about you? Do you have a boyfriend?"

"An ex, but he had a pretty bad temper so we stopped dating." She tucked her hair behind her ear. I was starting to find her very attractive.

We heard the door close and so soon Ashton was standing in the doorway. Her hair was straight down flowing to her waist. She wore a long parka with a black infinity scarf, black jeans and suede boots. She looked like a H&M model. She looked hot.

"Who's she?" Ashton rudely asked pointing to Madison. There was an awkward silence in the room because I forgot to inform Ashton that Madison was staying with us.

"You have quite the manners, I'm Madison. A friend of Adrianna's." She gave her a smile. However, Ashton didn't flash a smile. She kept her eyes on her, intimidating her.

"Why are you here?" Ashton asked.

"She needed somewhere to stay Ashton calm down its cool." I chimed in saving the day. But Ashton wasn't stupid and she wouldn't let this go.

"I have to get to the hospital so I'll go." She rushed out the other door leading to the hallway. Ashton turned her hard gaze on me.

"You've replaced me with Mother Mary. Cute." She said snidely.

"You've replaced me with the devil himself." I shot back at her. She rolled her eyes.

"I haven't replaced you. You're just trying to make yourself feel better for not loving me anymore." She plopped on the couch. I stood from my seat and went to sit beside her.

"I'll never stop loving you for as long as I'll live." I said with honesty. She rolled her eyes. After taking a good look at her I saw that she had been drinking. Her skin was pale and her eyes were glossy. "What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

She just stared at me, then after sighing she answered, "my brother and I aren't seeing eye to eye." She rolled her eyes.

"How come?" I never knew her bond with her brother was so strong.

"He thinks I'm betraying him because...." She looked up at my eyes, "he saw me with Michel in my room."

I stood up immediately, walking towards the door. "You're seeing him?" Regardless of the answer I would still be angry. She shook her head too fast. "Stop lying Ashton." I shook my head closing my eyes. "I can't do this. Yes I cheated but I'm not going to sit here while you fuck around with Michel. I refuse. I was wrong but darling too wrongs don't make a right."

She stared at me in amazement, she never saw this coming. "Roman-"

"No don't say anything just leave." Without another word I went right to my room. It hurt like hell but I couldn't suffer.
