I walked up the front steps of the house. This was a Victorian styled house. The front entrance had double doors and the inside had a spiral staircase. The whole house was big and amazing. It had everything but Ashton.
I knew I missed her more than anyone because I thought about her everyday. I didn't blame Roman. I didn't blame anyone I just wanted her to come back.

When I unlocked the door I found Asher sitting on the stairs. He looked up at me with big eyes. It hurt looking at him because he looked like Ashton. "I can't find her." He looked like he was near tears. I walked over to him and held him. He laid his head against my stomach as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"I miss her too." I whispered as he wrapped his arms around me. He held me tight.

"I'm gonna kill him." He said referring to Roman.

"No Asher don't. Ashton would kill you." I got down to look in his eyes.

"Asher don't."

"Why shouldn't i? My sister is the only person who has never gave up on me. And now I can't find her." He shook his head avoiding my eyes.

"Ashton is in love with Roman. It would break her heart." I sat on his lap, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. "Let him live with this mistake."

"I just want my sister to come home. I don't want her to feel heart broken over a human-"

"The other day when I went to school I saw Michel there. He told us that he and Ashton were meant to be. It was something about a curse and that's why she fell ill."

"I don't understand."

"Whatever, just come and watch television with me." I stood and pulled him into the den. We sat on the couch and pulled my blanket over us.

Asher and I were so comfortable around each other. I had barely saw Elijah but it was better that way, I was with Asher.

I think I love Asher, I know he loves me. He tells me so much, I'm not ready for that so I just accept. And we haven't had sex, he seems okay with that but I know he's frustrated. I don't know when I'll be ready.

"Mia," he whispered. I turned to look into those green eyes I loved so much. "I love you so much." He admitted. Instead of replying I kissed his sweet lips. Scared to tell him I felt the same. I just loved spending every moment with him. No one could be him.

The next couple of days I spent helping Asher get ready to find his sister. He was going to a different city. I packed him clothes and blood bags so he could be prepared. I sent him off causally and he made me go to school in his absence.

So here I was that morning standing in my uniform. It was so ugly and I hated that stupid school. I wore the necklace Asher gave me under my shirt.

I was only really going because Roman needed a friend, Mike and Candice weren't enough. Besides he needed protection and I wasn't sure Mike was trained well enough to handle his anger.

I drove silently to school and found Jade sitting at the table by herself. I got out of the car and walked over to her.

"Hey Jade." I sat across from her and studied her.

Jade had long red hair and brilliant blue eyes. I thought she was gorgeous.
Being the bitch I am we never really got close. But she never was hostile towards me and I wasn't towards her.

"Hey Mia, what brings you here?"

"I just saw you here and I was wondering what was wrong." I gave her a genuine sympathetic look. She stared at her hands the whole time.
