I was sitting at lunch with Roman and Mike. We were deep in conversation about Jade. She was distancing herself from us and Roman had an idea that Mike knew why.

Of course he would tell us that he didn't know. But I had a feeling he did. "So how is it? With Michel being your father?"

"I barely see him really we haven't really build a relationship. He's just there once a month when I turn." He explained. "And my other dad doesn't know, we haven't spoke much since my mother died."

"You're okay right?" I ask. He nods.

"Really I just want Jade back." He stared frustratedly at his food. He gazed raised and he stared at something behind me. "Oh my god, it's... Ashton." His eyes grew wide.

I turned around to see her aiming directly at me. She gripped my neck and lifted me up. "W-What are you doing?" I asked with wide eyes, struggling to breathe. Her green eyes were full of pure anger.

"Ashton stop you're hurting her."

"I don't care." She muttered throwing my body to the ground. She dragged me by my hair out of the cafeteria. I tried to pry her hand off my head but she was extremely strong and wouldn't budge. "Don't touch me." I looked down to see Mike and Roman following. How the hell was it possible for nobody to help me? "I've compelled them all." Ashton answered.

She kicked open the double door to the school and threw me out into the parking lot like I was a doll.

My back hit the ground and started aching. Wincing in pain I rolled over.

"You come back and try to kill her what's that about?" Roman shouted running over to me. I look up to get a good look at her. Her hair was its usual curly and thick around her shoulders. She wore suede expensive looking boots and a leather jacket. She was dressed to kill.

I knew why she was doing this, but I didn't want Roman to know. "Why not?" Ashton walked over to me and grabbed my hair again. Roman reached out to touch her arm but she turned her murderous gaze on him. "Do not touch me."

"Why are you doing this?" He asked.

"She killed my mother." Ashton was looking at me now. She threw my body against the tree and moved quickly to stand over my body.

I was in so much pain. I knew she would return to this town but I thought she wouldn't link the murder to me. "That was all Zaria. You know," she grabbed my neck and stood me up against the tree, "my mother always wanted to spare you. She wanted you to live a long life because you were a witch just like her. But now that you've killed her, I'm afraid you have gained some of the worst enemies."

As she said those words i saw Elijah, Zaria, Asher, Mia and some other woman come into view. "You don't understand how bad they all want to kill you. Crazy right?" She flashed a smile that made my stomach drop. How could she be happy at a time like this? I was dying. "That's the point. I want you to feel low, like you have no reason to live because you killed the one thing I lived for."

"Let me have her, I enjoy the screams." Asher was now standing by her side. He looked at me with the same anger filled eyes.

"I have a better idea." Zaria spoke from behind them both. The two stepped aside to allow me a full view of her. She inched closer, her once gentle green eyes were full of kill. "Why don't we demonstrate for her? Killing her would be way too easy. Let's make her suffer." Zaria was no different than the twins.

"She is dear, you just killed her mother do you honestly think she would grant you mercy?" Ashton loosened her grip on my neck a little. "I want you to be full awake to see this. Continue Zaria. You two boys might not wanna see what's about to happen."

Roman and Mike stood there helplessly. They stared over with wide eyes, scared. "Bring her forward Elijah."

To my horror and despair he threw my Aunt Karen to the ground in front of him. She looked up at me. "Candice they said its your fault. What did you do?"

"She killed our mother." Zaria shouted.

"She killed my grandmother!" I yelled in defense, none of this was fair. They couldn't get away with this.

"Candice you can never get in fair with a vampire! Never. They'll always one up you. You were stupid in thinking that." Karen shouted with tears in her eyes.

"Stupid Candice. Your mistakes have cost your grandmother her life, now your Aunt." Ashton released me and they all walked towards my Aunt.

"No please don't touch her kill me instead please I'm so sorry." I shouted running towards them.

Mia stepped in and slammed me to the ground. "Too late." She glared at me and forced me to watch what happened. "If you look any other direction I'll have Valeria melt your insides." She muttered in my ear.

Tear fell from my eyes uncontrollably. Ashton grabbed one of Karen's arms, Asher grabbed the other and Elijah and Zaria grabbed either of her legs. In seconds they ripped her apart. I hurled over throwing up blood and crying tears.

"You monsters." I cried.

"You'll think twice before you cross us again." Asher spoke. I couldn't even look at him I just cried so hard I felt my stomach ache.

"Any other relative you bring into this town will die. And you will watch us kill them." Ashton said before walking away.

I knew what she said was true.
