Ashton (Part 1)

I'm on my way to Roman's house. We haven't talked all morning and I was just dying to kiss his face.
Part of me was cautious when it came to loving him because of vulnerability. I was invincible but he was the total opposite. He could get seriously hurt so I had to protect him at all times.
I didn't mind because it was Roman but I actually didn't want to responsible for anything. I kill humans for entertainment what am i doing protecting one?
I pull into the drive way and notice there's already a car there. Who's car is that?
Getting out of the car i hurried to the door and opened it. I hear sounds coming from upstairs.
Skeptically, I move at vampire speed to Roman's door. I pushed it open and the sight before me is quite... unsettling.
Roman is smiling, laying in bed with Carolin. Of all people?
They both jump up and look at me. But I just turn and walk at human speed back down the steps.
He really cheated on me. Oh all people to cheat on he cheats on me. That's pretty stupid considering I could rip both their heads off.
"Ashton, please." Roman follows me down the steps. He reaches out to touch me but I stare at his hand so he doesn't attempt.
"It's fine Roman, really." I shrug backing towards the door.
"Stop." He pleads looking like he's about to cry.
I think the thing that hurts him most is that I have no expression on my face. Of course I'm head over heels for him but at the end of the day he's human and he makes stupid mistakes. And he missed out.
"Goodbye." I wave and turn to the door.
An elderly woman stood at the door waiting. She threw spices and herbs in my face causing me to fall unconscious.
