Forth takes off his coat and threw it on the bed. He glanced at Beam sitting in the corner of the room looking down at his lap.
"Beam.. You should change your clothes."
Beam nodded and silently went to the closet and took his change of attire in the bathroom.
He walked towards the bathroom just in time for Beam to shed off his white long sleeved top, baring his shoulders, the bitemark scar still visible. Forth leaned on the open door and watched him closely. Losing his self restraint he walked towards Beam who had stiffened upon hearing Forth's foosteps against the marble floor.
Forth gripped his hands on Beam's waist and gently kissed his naked shoulder. Repeatedly kissing the mark he had made before. Beam couldn't move. Fear had taken over him, fear and something else.
He can feel Forth's lips slowly making his way up to his neck. A knock suddenly came from the bedroom door.
"Sir Forth? You and.. and Mr. Jaturapoom is needed downstairs." A voice who belongs to the event manager had spoken up outside their door.
Beam let out a sigh of relief. He finished changing and so did Forth. They headed outside in the estate courtyard where a fabric tent stood and decorated, under it was the guests eating and obviously having fun.
Forth held Beam's hand as soon as they were near for everyone to see. Claps and cheers both greeted them as they were asked to sit on the main table for the newly weds.
Toasts were offered by guests unknown to Beam which he realized are Forth's important clients and some are partners in other business ventures.
Beam stayed silent until the celebration was over. He was smiling at the guests who would approach and congratulate him but never really made any effort to talk. He wanted to avoid everyone and so he went to the front area of the estate overlooking the ocean.
The sky was layers of pale violet and orange hue. The sun was setting and dots of lights from the sailboats had lit up in the distance.
Maybe this marriage wouldn't be that bad.
Beam took a deep breath as he gaze on the view. He smiled sadly with a heavy heart. He feels like he was bought and paid for. And he was, for 430 million, he reminded himself.
"Son?"
Beam turned around and found his family.
"What are you doing here P'?" His brother asked as he looks around, amazed.
"I just needed to get some air." Beam answered.
"We talked to Forth. He promised me a lot of good things, I hope he would stay true to his word. He's seems like a very nice man." His father said seemingly impressed and relieved.
"He is." Beam smiled reassuringly, hoping his family wouldn't see past his facial expression.
"This is a beautiful view. Simply breath taking." His mother said as he holds Beam's hands. Beam stared at her and smiled.
From a distance, Forth observed the family. He sighed and went back to the party and bid goodbye to the leaving guests.
The whole estate was now silent. Beam was scared to wander around and get lost. His family had settled in their rooms and Beam was all alone in his.
He heard the door handle twist and creak. Forth entered and locked the door. He took off his shoes and walked to the bed where Beam was sitting while hugging his knees.
Forth found Beam extremely adorable in his pajamas. He couldn't help himself but hug him and kissed his forehead. Forth played with Beam's hand.
"You haven't said anything to me Beam." Forth's voice was demanding.
"W-what is there to say?" Beam asked softly.
Forth stood up angrily and went to the bathroom. The door banged with a loud noise echoing inside the big room that made Beam flinched.
Beam laid on his side of the bed and closed his eyes. He prayed to fall asleep before Forth could come out of the bathroom.
But he didn't. He shut his eyes and pretended to be asleep when he heard the bathroom door opened. Dreadful of what Forth might do next.
Beam felt Forth's presence on the bed. Beam was then alarmed when Forth placed his own arms under his head only to serve as a pillow. Beam thought that Forth might have believed he really is sleeping. Forth's other arm rested on his abdomen pulling him closer. Soon Forth had drifted off to sleep with Beam in his arms, wide awake.
