Danny lifted up sharply from his relaxed position in my bed when he heard my key rattle the door.
A smile spread brightly across his face as I came in," Avey-baby! You're back."I grimaced at him and shook my head, tossing my books on the dresser,"Don't call me that. Also...why are you in my bed."
Danny shrugged," I had gotten pretty used to keeping myself company. Forgot how nice it was to have someone around."
"That doesn't explain why you're in my bed." I raised my eyebrow.
"What? Scared of me getting all my ghost juices on it?"
"First off: ew! And secondly: get outta my bed. I've had a long day and I desperately need a nap."
He grinned a shark's grin and his arms out towards me.
"Then don't be a stranger, come here. I'll be your living teddy bear!""But you're not even alive!"
He shrugged,"Tomato, potato. Now get over here, girlie. My arms are getting tired~."I sighed. Realizing that he wasn't going to get out of my bed and physically there was now way to remove him, I considered sleeping in his bed...
Oh what the heck. If I simply slept in my own bed, it wouldn't matter. Not like I would be able to feel him anyway.
With a huff, I marched over to the foot of the bed and flomped onto it and right through Danny's chest. His ghostly chuckle echoed in my ear and laid on his side and his arm fazed under my head. His gleaming eyes shining with his smile. I couldn't touch his skin. Couldn't smell his scent or feel his warmth but I could feel the cold that came with his chill to comfort me. My eyelids immediately getting heavy. I returned his gaze with half-lidded eyes.
"You know, you're awful pretty for a fleshy person."
"And you're awful talkative for dead guy." I sighed, shutting my eyes
"Ooo, you're feisty~"
"I'm tired!" I corrected.
"Then go to sleep, sweets."
"But...I have a question." I hesitated"What's up, Buttercup?"
"Why...I mean, HOW did you die?" I whispered."Sorry, can't tell you~."
"Why not?"
"You must be atleast a level three friend to unlock my tragic backstory."I sighed irritably.
He snickered," I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Afterall, only a level three friend would let me cuddle them to sleep...""You're not funny...also we are not cuddling! I can't even feel you."
Now it was his turn to sigh, his next statement coming out more serious sounding, suddenly he wasn't the teasing ghost boy I knew him as,"Honestly...I don't know how I died. I can't remember."
I nodded the best I could while lying down," I get that in movies most ghost don't remember how they died but you would think it be pretty hard to forget something like that."
"All I remember is being cold and then next thing I know I'm fazing through walls to get into the girl's changing room."
"That's a nice story.." I said fading off to sleep
