Chapter 13

Sometimes, you meet someone throughout your life under strangest circumstances. I don't know if it's fate or coincidence.

I met Sparsh at my weakest point while the rain is raging on. It's for me to find out if it's fate, coincidence or just a game of playful destiny why we met.

Senior Sparsh is calling...

Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko when I saw his name popping on my phone.

I don't want to waste a single minute. I answered it.

"Goodmorning! Did you sleep well?" he asked. Shit! Why do I feel this way? Para akong baliw na napakagat labi eh nagtanong lang naman siya.

"A-ano.. Yeah" I stammered.

I heard he chuckled.

"That's good then. I'll wait for you in front of the university. Go, eat your breakfast and get change! I'll hang up now. Take care, Shanaya. Bye!" he exclaimed.

I'm about to tell him that he shouldn't wait for me but he ended the call right after he spoke. Is that how he court? A little bit sweet.

I don't know what was in my mind when I told him I want to take the risk. I just can't accept if I see him getting far from me. I want to stay closer to him even if it's dangerous for my heart.

Hindi ko nga rin inaasahan na I gave chance again to someone. Yes, I'm afraid but it's lonelier if I'll let myself caged with the past. I want to make peace with the past so it will not affect the present but I don't know if I can face him again. Now that he's also in pain.

Nakarating na ako sa university and he's really waiting for me outside. He's wearing a ripped jeans and a jacket with hoodie. He's like an idiot, smiling while looking at his phone. Why smile like that? My heart flutters.

"Hey, Goodmorning" I greeted him with a smile in my lips.

He smiled back. He walked towards me. At ipinakita niya ang wallpaper ng phone niya.

"This is the best picture I've ever had" he said ng nakangiti.

It's our picture together at the park with a funny face. I guess, it's the reason why he's smiling awhile ago.

Lumakad na kami papasok sa university. As expected, maraming nakatingin sa aming dalawa. May naririnig akong questions from them like "OMG! Sila na ba?""They are so cute. Bagay na bagay". Hindi ko na lang pinansin ang mga sinasabi nila. Sparsh is all on smile walking. Palibhasa, katabi lang naman niya ang great Aestethic ng BTSU, no other than me.

Hinatid niya ako sa harap ng room namin. Many girls giggled, but some, halatang-halata ang pag disagree nila. Ang my great friend Sapphire Brownman? She's busy having a date with his suitor or boyfriend.

"Pasok na ako. Thanks!" I gladly thanked him.

"I don't have class before snack break. Probably, I'll wait for you 10 minutes before snack time." pagpapahayag niya. Is it his duty to tell me everything? Okay, he's kinda sweet.

I just nodded and I went in our room. Madaming mata ang nakatingin sa akin.

"Sapiro, I'm here!" I shouted at her. Hindi man lang niya kasi mapansin ang presensya ko.

"Aya! I told you, I'm the only one who can call her Sapiro!" sigaw niya sa'kin.

Nakalimutan ko kung gaano kaseloso si Prince. Nakita ko na napatawa si Sapphire sa reaksyon ni Prince. Seloso!

"Labas ka na nga Prince! Shuuuu" itinaboy ni Sapphire si Prince na parang sisiw.

"Where's my kiss?" he asked. Grabe naman, ang daming nakakarinig, hindi man lang siya nahihiya.

"Mamaya na lang" confident namang saad ni Sapphire. Seriously? Sila na ba?

Magtatanong sana ako kay Sapphire kung ano na ang status nila, and I was about to tell that Sparsh is already courting me but our professor entered. He did discussing and discussing and suddenly my phone vibrated.

Fr:Senior Sparsh
Listen to your professor. Cheer up Shanaya! Love your subject, okay?

Nakikita niya ba ako? Parang alam niya na hindi na naman ako interested sa lesson namin.

To:Senior Sparsh
Don't worry, I'll listen. At nandyan ka naman para turuan ako, right? I sent.

Wala pang isang minuto, nagreply na siya agad.

Fr:Senior Sparsh
Hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon, nandyan ako para turuan ka. You do it by yourself. He replied.

Kahit kailan talaga, may mga good thoughts na mapupulot ka sa kanya. I replied him with a sad face, he replied quickly.

Fr:Senior Sparsh
Don't be sad. I might drag you out of your room and kiss your sexy lips outside to let you feel better.

Oh Goodness! My heart..... the beats are racing! His message made me scream, kaya napatingin sa akin ang mga katabi ko. That Sparsh!

Our next professor discussed also. Nakinig na ako ng nakinig sa tinuturo niya. I saw Sparsh outside. I looked at my watch, it's still 9:14. He's too early.

"Sapphire, wala ka na sigurong date ngayon? Sabay na tayo" nagbabaka sakaling hindi sila magdedate ni Prince.

"I'm not available. I think you're not available also. Sparsh is waiting, perfect! Let's have a double date" masayang sabi niya.

Nakita kong nasa tabi na ni Sparsh si Prince. They are talking to each other. Hinagip ni Sapphire ang kamay ko at pumunta kina Sparsh.

Sabay-sabay kaming naglakad papunta sa cafeteria. Of course, halos lahat ng madaanan namin ay mapapatingin talaga sa Amin. Two famous ladies and two popular gentleman is nearly perfect.

We ate and laughed together. It's pretty good to be a part of this 3 idiots. I can see myself being an idiot also. How PAthetic!

"I'll teach you later Shanaya ha? Ang tigas kasi ng ulo mo. Sinabi kong makinig ka, eh reply ka ng reply" he said. Ako pa talaga ang may kasalanan ngayon?

Tumango na lang ako bilang sagot.

"Kayo na ba?" Sabay kaming nagtanong ni Sapphire.

"No, we aren't. He's courting me Sapphire" I honestly told her. Ayokong magsikreto sa kanya.

"Well, ano na nga ba tayo Chua?" Sapphire asked Prince.

"Bagay.... Bagay Tayo!" sagot naman ni Prince. Napatawa si Sapphire sa sagot ng prinsipe niya.

"Joke! Aya, Action speaks louder than words, remember that!" he said. Based on their actions, sila na. I know they're already kissing. Baka nga naparami na sila sa halikan.

Hinatid na nila kami sa room namin ni Sapphire. I continued exchanging message to Sparsh. Ang sarap niyang ka-text. He can make me feel that I'm Worth loving for.

Pumunta ako sa library after naming kumain ni Sapphire for lunch. Pagkarating ko sa pinto, nakita ko na si Sparsh. He noticed me so he smiled and approached me.

He discussed the lessons I had for today. I listened to him carefully hanggang sa mawalan na naman ako ng gana, so I stared at his angelic face. From the beginning, I really love staring at him. I can't help but to watch his eyes, and his talking lips.

He paused explaining then he stared back. Iiwas na sana ako ng ilagay niya ang kamay niya sa pisngi ko.

"Just look at me. Don't get tired looking at my face Shanaya" he smiled so sweet.

Tinitigan lang niya ako ng may abot-langit na ngiti. Kaya tinitigan ko siya ng may nakakalokang ngiti.

"I'm not the best at being loved but I want to tell you I'm pretty good at loving" Sparsh said.
