                        Bellamy POV

"Ever heard of a grounder who could power up a spaceship?" Monty attempts to joke as we're being led through farm station by the grounder Dakiva and her leader

"No talking." She snarls at Monty as we enter a bigger room filled with about 20 or so kids. Most look to be from different clans.

"Slaves, eyes down." Tybe shouts out before turning to look at me. "Do what you came to do."

"You heard him, back to work." Another grounder shouts out

Harper steps forward but I quickly grab ahold of her, holding her back. We needed to tread carefully here.

"Up there the generator." Monty points towards a space looking up from the blue prints.

"Let's go." The grouncher chief nods.

We follow behind him, and just when I think this mission couldn't get anymore complicated it did.

"Riley?" I hear Bryan  call out, looking someone in the room, walking towards the boy in chains.

"Bryan, wait!" I call out to him but it's too laten

"I thought you were dead." He says grabbing of the one called Riley before the grounder leader pushes them apart.

"Only the machine." He growls put pointedly. "The rest is ours."

"I don't care if we're unarmed, we can't just leave them." Bryan says stubbornly

"We're in the Coalition now," Harper tells him. "so we ask the King to free them. It's our best bet."

"Not if it means leaving Riley."

"We won't okay, but Harper's right, we try diplomacy first if that doesn't work we come with reinforcements for the slaves." I tell him quietly while Monty works on getting the machine loose. "After we take home the machine. Right?"

"Yeah." Bryan replies unconvincingly

At that precise moment a slave girl walks by subtly dropping a note at my feet. Bending down I quickly lift it up, and I know shit is fixing to turn bad to worse, when the says:

"Moving us tomorrow. Help!"

"They're moving them." I say looking up to the others

"It's now or never." Bryan says quickly.

"Are there any other exits in here?"

"It's completely sealed." He says shaking his head. "Came down from space in here because it's the most secure room in the ship."

"It's designed that way in case the hydrazine blew." Monty calls out

Fuck..

"What?" Harper asks looking between the both of usm

"We have a bomb." I say quietly

"Wait a second, the end of the world is coming and you want to destroy the one thing that will keep our people alive?" Miller ask incredulously

"Not all of our people." Bryan says stepping up to him. "What about Riley?"

"I vote that we take it home." Miller tells us

"No, we blow it up." Bryan argues.

"I'm with Bryan." Harper says from beisde me. "I know what's like to be locked up and afraid. You didn't leave us in Mount Weather, we shouldn't leave them here.. Kayleigh wouldn't either if she was here." Harper
