                 Third Person POV

"Let em run. They'll die of starvation in the wasteland." McCreary says with a smile watching most of Wonkru army retreating.

"What's wrong, Kane?" He questions eyeing the man. "I thought this is what you wanted, too."

Kane however didn't have a smile, instead he watched on in disbelief and sadness.

"We all want the same thing-- survival of the human race. And there are people out there who can help us achieve that." He says gesturing to the screen at the people still left alive.

"He's right." Diyoza chimes in trying to help. "We can't do this alone."

"And yet, according to your book, we have everything we need right here." McCreary replies holding it up. "It's your first entry after we woke up and you thought we were alone, right after your sword of Damocles speech to the leaders of the so-called free world." He says watching her as she keeps her expression blank. "We didn't need that one, did we, and here it is: plans for the survival of the species, curtosy of our friends aboard Eligius III.

"They weren't criminals."

"Neither are we," he reprimands, "not anymore."

"You will be if you commit genocide." Kane says gravely

"And I thought we were all friends now." McCreary replies stiffy

"Relax, Paxton. We are." Diyoza says turning from him to briefly glance at Kane. "It was always gonna be us or them. Kane knows that, too, don't you, Kane?"

McCreary chuckles before Kane could respond. "She's good, isn't she?" He questions before losing his smile and stepping closer to the pregnant woman. "There is only one reason you're still alive, and once she's born, you won't be. Lock her up." He barks at the men in the room

"Look. We gave you what you wanted." Kane starts. "Our intel was good,-

"So far, but there's still the savage bitch to deal with."

"if you don't mind," Kane continues ignoring the slur aimed for Kayleigh, "I'd like to see Abby now. "

"Otherwise known as the reason you're still alive, and I do mind. " McCreary snarks. "You can see her once she's finished healing my men and he examining my child." He says stepping right up to Kane. "Once this has been dealt with we'll deal with our other problem in the woods. "Until then..." he says smiling again. "why don't we listen to what you've done, Kane? That is the sound of victory."

"Fuck!" Bellamy raged silently to himself.

He was silently hoping to be wrong when he told his sister she was leading them to slaughter. But that hope was for nothing.

They were out of options, and currently pinned down with no way of escaping.

His heart was beating wildly behind his chest, adrenaline flooding his veins as the shots fired towards them. He still had no clue where Asher and Apollo were, all he could do was hope he was safe, and they'd find Kayleigh.

"O, don't move." Bellamy says only to growl again when she refuses to listen. "I said, don't move. The second we move, we're dead." Reaching over her grand ahold of her yanking her back.

"God damnit! Get down." He snarls at her

"This is your fault." She spits back at him the moment bullets stop firing their way.

"We are not doing this now." He snaps back. "Judging by the number of dead, some of your army must have made it back to the wasteland. They won't last long without food or water."
