Third Person POV
             *** Shadow Valley***

"You could've been a miner, Doc." Diyoza calls out to Abby from her spot against the wall, watching as the good doctor targeted the difference cells using the machine Raven had created on another prisoner.

"Miners don't care about destroying the ground they're digging in." Abby replies back stoniclly. "I did that, my patient would die, so don't ask me to do it intentionally. Because I won't."

"Colonel, incoming." Vinson calls out lowly before Diyoza could respond.

"You know what to do." She orders. "Hide the machine."

The whirling automatically stops as Abby hastily takes apart the machine before handing the bigger pieces to Vinson.

"Vinson, stay out of sight." Diyoza commands as he steps away the bigger piece as Abby quickly finishes with the rest, just as McCreary and three of his men entered the room, closing the door with a thin behind them.

He looks to Abby first, seeing the man laying on her table, unconscious with a machine now breathing for him.

"Still alive I see." Abby says looking away from her patient to the man in question before turning away again.

"No thanks to you," He says pointedly before narrowing his eyes on Diyoza, "or you."

"You seem upset, McCreary," Diyoza says in a bored tone before her eyes met his again, "but you'd need feelings for that, so-

He chuckles lightly before moving further into the room coming up behind Abby.

"Your errand boy looks better." He says looking down at the table to see Robert Cash laying there. "Should I be hopeful?"

"I'm not." Abby dead pans. "Robert's lungs filled with fluid this morning." She says turning to look at him. "He almost drowned. Same thing is gonna happen to you soon."

"I came to check her progress." Diyoza cuts in. "Maybe we should let her do her job?" She says looking at McCreary ignoring the others in the room.

"My men know you wouldn't trade for me, some are even calling for your head." He says turning to face the woman.

"Well then it's a good thing my people have all the guns." She informs him not missing the way his eyes twitched. " I had them locked up when you came home." She explains.

He takes a few steps forward, any more they would be breathing on top of each other.

"One step ahead, as always." He says and Diyoza gives him a tight smile.

"Crowed." Vinson says stepping forward making his presence known.

Diyoza turns to head to look up at him, he barely notices, instead a thrill goes through his body as McCrearys men all seem to take a step back and fidget. What confidence they had fled upon seeing that man.

"Am I early?" He questions, stopping next to McCreary, only to lean in close to the man as he spoke the words.

"No, Vinson." Abby says going with the shread that he was never there. "You're right one time."

"We should finish this later." McCreary says turning away from Vinson to Diyoza. Her smile stays in place even as they seem to circle each other as he moves past.

She had won this round.

As soon as the door closes however her smile instantly drops. "How much time does he have left?" She questions as Vinson sits down on the next table.
