It was one of those early mornings... cold and unforgiving; Andrew was in his bed turning and tossing around. This used to be a normal occurrence for him and many of his old teammates, all the blood and scenes their work field made them live through were horrid:

Deaths of loved ones, killing what could be an innocent soul, and even forcing them to leaving their families forever, in some cases.

This was all for the greater good, of course...

or that's what they had been told since day one of training.

Andy woke up in a sweat, grabbing his dog tags with all his strength. A long moment later, He sighed. Grabbing his glasses from the small night table, he looked at the time.

Andy got out of bed and took a short shower, not really bothering to clean himself. Things get messy really fast at work after all...

Or at least they did...

Before the Elite Defense Group removed his field job entirely.

As he was getting ready to leave, Andy took a quick glance at a picture next to the door. It was obviously old, and you could tell it had been through a lot... He smiled at the old memory, shook his head in sorrow, and went out the door, ready to face the new day.

"Identification?" Asked the computer by the door of his workplace, Andy remained quiet and placed his hand on the scanner.

after a few seconds the secret door planted in the 'telephone company's office' was opened....

"Have a good day agent."

The computer switched off and Andrew entered...

It seemed a normal day; busy hallways, some people cleaning wounds in the medical ward, some of them doing paperwork,,,

Andrew decided to ignore the fumes coming from the lab.. things didn't always work out when experimenting with highly toxic substances.

He went to his desk, in a little room filled with tech parts, and blueprints.. each with a EDG agency stamp in the right corner... his gaze fell on the pile of paperwork waiting to be filled out...

Along side of all the tech he builds for the company, they have him fill out his share of paperwork... each new project he makes for them has to be inspected and approved by higher ranked individuals in the agency.

yeah, not dealing with that today, Andy thought.

He sighed, leaving his jacket at his desk, Andy made his way towards the training area...

There sat a girl. Blonde, and quite mysterious...Andrew had seen her before, she'd been probably been at the association longer than him... ranked higher as well.

"Good morning," he greeted. The girl nodded and continued with her activities.

He could have stopped right there, and moved on with his day... but Andrew couldn't stop himself.

"Andrew, you?" He asked as he wrapped bandages around his hands.

The girl glanced in his direction and completely ignored him.

"Well... not everyone is a talker." He smirked and made his way to the ring. "Want a little friendly fight? Great for meeting people."

The girl sighed. "I don't fight unless there's a good purpose."

"Well, if you win I'll leave you alone" he replied.

"And in the unlikely occurrence you do?" She turned to face him.
