Chapter 7:

"Aw look.. he's still alive." Jay muttered in disgust as he lifted himself to his feet.

"ANDREW!" Danica crawled to her friend ignoring the pain coursing through her leg.

"Aj, finish them." Jay spat.

But.. instead of obeying, She simply turned her gaze from Andy's immobile arm laying several feet from his still body, to the little blue disc sitting by her feet..

"I-...I'm so sorry Tris.." Turning her gaze to Danica-who was hurriedly checking Andy's pulse and clenching her jacket to his bleeding wound- Aj unhooked her tper and tossed it to her friend.

"Aj... what are you..." Jacob's eyes widened with understanding. He reached up and clicked the red disc on his head, frowning when it did nothing.

Distracted, Jay barely had time to dodge the dagger soaring for his head.

Aj struck Jay with her sword, knocking him down and digging her knees into his both of his thighs, shoulders held down having him pinned to the ground.

She slid a hidden dagger from its sheath in her boot and pressed it to his throat.

"Get out of here Jay, and tell EDG that you never found them.. or I'll make sure there's nothing of you for anyone else to find." With a final glare, she released Jacob and picked up Andy's arm, tossing it to her brother.

"A souvenir, now get out."

Confidence leaving him, Jay stuck up his middle finger at the two, before trudging back through the trees and out of sight.

"I..thought you were going somewhere safe?" Danica rapidly began typing in coordinates for Andy's 'island workshop' as she spoke, anger lacing her tone.

"I was gonna come after you and Andy. thought you could use help with a whole organization on your backs.. but Jay found you two first." She sighed and lifted Andy from the ground. "I tried..distracting him... and you can see how that worked out. he's gonna bleed out, soon,,, we need to get going." Danica nodded, and immediately tped them away

The Aj hoisted Andy's limp body onto the cleared worktable in the center of the room.

The three of them were teleported into a large one-room cabin... exactly how Andy described it to Danica just an hour ago.

Aj dumped bandages and EDG made healing & energy serums onto the table as well.

"Can you heal yourself Danica?" Tris nodded, expression still laced with pain, and caught the bandages and serum AJ tossed her, as well as a first aid kit.

"I'll patch up Andrew,,, but the healing serum won't do much for the missing arm..."

"I know.." Tris winced as she fumbled to remove the bullets from her leg. "At least he'll be alive..."

All he saw was a blinding white light and~

Andrew jerked up with a start.

"And he's awake!"
