"I can't believe the whole thing was a bust!" Andrew plopped down in a chair and sighed, lifting his phone to his other ear.

"Tell me about it..." Alpha's low voice responded through the phone. "It could've gone so well..."

"It could've... but it was just the opposite..."

After Alphas leg was all fixed and bandaged, EDG sent Payton to tell the boys that they were both suspended until after a conference that takes place in two weeks. At the conference the agency would decide to whether to fire the two or inflict severe punishment.

The EDG really didn't like agents leaving their positions... at all.

"So Alpha..." Andrew sipped his coffee and asked, "What's the situation with your leg?"

A sigh.

"I got most of it healed... but there's more damage than the medic's thought, so i'm bed confined for the week. Oh SHOOT~" A faint crashing noise could heard through the phones speaker, "Crap... Andrew i'll call you later." The call ended, leaving Andrew in silence.

He had a whole week of no work. A week with nothing but his thoughts and his best friend.

And Andrew was going to make the best of it.

Tucking his phone into his pocket, stomach rumbling, he grabbed his wallet and keys from the counter and made his way out the door.

It's not like he could make his current work situation worse by leaving his house. Plus, what could go wrong with buying a taco?

Unhooking his tper, he teleported into an alley across the street from his favorite taco shack. It was a small alley- barely being able to fit more than 2 cars at a time- lined with graffiti covered brick walls. A tall, hooded figure standing across the alley looked over towards Andrew-and nearly stumbled into the wall.

Thinking it was nothing, Andy ran a hand through his dark brown hair before turning and heading towards the taco shack, when a warm hand grabbed his shoulder and spun him around.

"What th-?" The hooded man shoved Andrew against the wall, and pulled a wicked looking blade from behind while using his other hand to keep Andrew's mouth covered.

Andy's eyes widened as the stranger pulled back the hood and pressed the blade to his throat. The man had a green face mask on underneath the hood, he quickly removed it revealing a tan face scattered with various burn scars. His hair was gone- likely burned off- and in its place multiple scars covered his head.

Blue eyes pierced through Andrew's as the man flashed a wicked smile.

Jake.

Andrew deeply regretted leaving his house a mere 5 minutes ago.

"Now I wasn't expecting to see you again..." Jake hissed into a Andy's ear, "Can't say it's a pleasure... but at least i'll get you out of the way."

He grinned.

"This'll teach you to keep from interfering..."

Blood dripped and trailed down Andy's neck as he discretely hit a button on his tper, still clenched in his hand. He quickly teleported behind Jake and kicked him into the wall.

Without giving Jake time to recover, Andrew pulled a mini pistol hidden in his waistband and aimed at Jake.

"Ah yes... at least I will get you out of the way.. AH!" Andrew stumbled back from Jake's kick and fell to the floor, blindly shooting at Jake as he fell.

Swearing, Jake fell to the floor just a few feet from Andy, clutching his bleeding leg with both hands. "Oh you'll regret that.." Jake made to strike, but Andrew quickly shot his other leg and blocked Jake's exit.
