"Wanna go to Japan after your finals?" Talia suggested to Claire.

"Of course! I'm so down," Claire smiled.

There was still some awkwardness after the two best friends made up. Everything didn't go back to the way it was immediately, but both of them were making an effort.

"I need to check my schedule for final exams though," Claire said.

"When's your last exam? We can go right after," Talia grinned excitedly.

"Wednesday, the 11th. How long are we going for?" Claire asked.

"I think we should be back before Christmas," Talia said. Claire nodded in agreement.

"You could book some shows to play too," Claire suggested.

"Good idea! Michelle will love that. I haven't performed in a while," Talia said.

"I can't wait," Claire squealed happily.

"Me neither. Hopefully this will get your mind off Jay," Talia said.

Claire's eyes softened, "Yeah, I hope so."

"You're so strong, you know that right?" Talia gave Claire a small smile.

"Thanks Tals. Being single is a weird feeling," Claire chuckled.

"You did the right thing, breaking up with him. Maybe you'll meet someone in Japan," Talia giggled, making Claire playfully roll her eyes.

"I doubt it. Plus, I don't think I can ever do long distance again," Claire admitted.

Talia wrapped her arms around her best friend, comforting her.

"Ready? The uber's here," Claire asked.

"Yup!" Talia said, pulling a suitcase behind her.

The two blondes took their luggage and went down to the lobby. They spotted their uber and got inside the car.

"This is gonna be a good week," Talia smiled.

Claire smiled back. Their friendship had slowly grown back to how it had been. Both of them were excited for this trip and hoped it would make their friendship even stronger than before.

As the car began it's journey to the airport, Talia pulled her phone out to see that she had gotten a text from her boyfriend.

"Have a good trip! Eat lots of food for me pls"

Talia grinned, quickly typing a text back.

"Thank you <3 and I definitely will hehe"

"Have a safe flight baby! Text me when you land"

"Of course :) I'll facetime you when I get to the hotel too"

"Can't wait"

Talia liked his last message before turning her phone off and facing Claire.

"Okay so here's the plan! It'll be night time when we get to Tokyo, so we'll head straight to the hotel. There's nothing planned for the first two days, so we can do whatever we want. On the third day, I have a show so I have to go to soundcheck at four. Then, we have three more free days. On the last day, I'm gonna have an interview in the morning. After that, we have a few hours before our flight home," Talia read off the calendar on her phone.

"Wow, we have a lot more free time than last time we went to Japan," Claire grinned.

"Time for tourist tingz!" Talia playfully said in a high pitched voice.

The blue eyed girl yawned as she stretched a bit. Talia had just gotten off the plane with Claire, who was definitely tired. Talia had slept for most of the flight while Claire watched movies instead.

The two girls got their luggage and exited the airport. They were welcomed by a breeze as soon as they walked out the airport doors.

Claire and Talia lined up to get a taxi and went to their hotel, not without taking a gazillion photos of Tokyo on the way though.

When the girls got to their hotel room, Claire quickly got ready for bed and immediately fell asleep.

On the other hand, after getting ready for bed, Talia grabbed her phone and tapped the facetime button.

"Hi Tals," Daniel's voice spoke through the phone.

Talia noticed the grogginess in his voice, "Oh shit, what time is it for you? Did I wake you up?"

"Nah, it's fine. I should get up anyways. It's eight am," Daniel smiled.

"Okay cool. You look cute by the way," Talia grinned at him.

Daniel blushed, "Not even! I literally just woke up."

"Oh shut up, you look cute all the time!" Talia chuckled.

"I could say the same about you," Daniel winked.

"Already so flirty, huh? It's only eight am, Dani!" Talia laughed.

Hours passed, and eventually Talia fell asleep talking to Daniel (sound familiar? hehe).

For the next five days days, Talia and Claire had the best time running around Tokyo. They even took trains to other cities such as Osaka and Nagoya. Claire cheered for Talia on their third night, where Talia had a performance in Tokyo.

The two best friends were really out there thriving. Their friendship was even better than before, which both of them were happy about, even if neither would admit it.
