From now on, the chapters that have ~ instead of - mean that there's smut in that chapter (a warning basically)
e.g. this chapter is "Chapter 22 ~ Back to Work" instead of "Chapter 22 - Back to Work"
just keep an eye out for the squiggly line lol

"Rosie... I'm sorry, okay?"

"Save it, Maya. If you truly were my friend, you would've told me about shagging the drummer boy the moment after it happened."

"You were upset about Freddie! That was the last thing I wanted to bring up." Maya exclaimed. Maya pressed her hand over the phone so Roger couldn't hear Rosemary's rant from the other line.

"Yes, I was upset, but if you told me, I could've collected the money Brian betted against me." Rosemary groaned. "I would've still been upset, but it would've slightly cheered me up to leave the flat that night £70 richer."

"You guys... betted on whether Roger wanted to shag me?" Maya asked, mouth agape.

"Oh, lovely, no. There was no question of him wanting to. It was a question of if he would be successful doing so."

"Hey!" Roger exclaimed on the other line. Maya's hand didn't muffle the sound for him well enough.

Rosemary faintly heard Roger and scoffed, leaning over next to Maya and speaking into the phone. "Don't 'hey' me, mate. I was on your side. Brian was the one betting against you."

Roger grimaced. "Brian, that fucking poodle-puff-headed—"

"Roger." Maya scolded, defensive for Brian's beautiful locks.

"Sorry." Roger sighed.

Maya turned to her friend, securing her hand over the phone to block Roger's hearing. "Rosie, could I just have a moment? This is the hundredth time I've called round the flat. Each time before, Freddie picked up. I finally got Roger so will you just—"

"Alright, alright." Rosemary put her hands up defensively, backing out of the kitchen.

"Oh, and Rosie... Don't tell anyone about Roger and I..." Maya pleaded.

"But—" Rosemary stopped herself and sighed, yearning for the beautiful sight of Brian grimacing while handing her a wad of cash, but nodding understandingly. "Oh, very well..." She dawdled out of sight, as Maya returned the phone to her ear, sighing.
