02 - CHRISTOPHER

"Amor? You're coming home late again?"

He hadn't asked Donna how often he stayed with her since he didn't want to freak her out with unusual questions but from Nina's quick assumption he implied it occurred a lot.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I only got one more meeting and I'll be home."

Upon hearing the small rustle from the other end of the line, Chris bit his lip as he felt a sense of guilt bubbling in his stomach. "I'll try to make it home as fast as possible, okay?"

"Okay," Nina softly spoke. "I'll wait for you then."

"Dale, amor. I'll see you in a bit then."

It was a distinct kind of guilt Christopher was now undergoing and this one was much nastier. Before the guilt was light and easily pushed to the side but now it was intense and persistent. He actually went through with his desires and by the end of it, it left a nasty taste in his mouth. When he was in the moment with Donna not once would Nina cross his mind because everything was about the sexy red-haired girl.

"Why did you say that?"

Christopher whipped his head around at the distressed voice. "What do you mean?"

"You always tell her that the meeting will take longer. Why did you tell her you would make it as quick as possible?"

Though Chris was bad at deciphering emotions, he could grasp the ache in her voice. She regularly appeared so confident, that seeing her vulnerable for him was a shocker. "I think one night that I go earlier won't hurt, right?"

Her lips parted and her body repelled from his, "are you being serious right now?"

"Donna... don't be like this."

"I am going to be like this because you're being an inconsiderate cock!"

The burning sensation coursed through his veins at her insult and he felt an inexplicable urge to yell at the woman in front of him. "You should be grateful."

"Tch," she scoffed as she crossed her arms. "And why is that?"

"Because I'm dedicating more time to you, dammit!"

"Yes," she smirked. "Because it's me the one you want."

Donna tauntingly circled the man, lightly digging her pointer finger across his chest. "I'm the one you desire. I'm the one who makes you feel and burn with passion. You want me."

He had to bite his tongue and fall into her trap because he simply couldn't dispute. Her touch was enough to make him crave her body and all her dirty comments. She was well aware of the effect she had on him because the minute she laid her finger on him, he pulled her by the arm and into his chest.

"I hate that you are so right."

And Christopher once again forgot about his fiancee who was home waiting for him. He forgot about her love as he took the other girl into bed and placing his all in her instead. He merely let the guilt slip as he loved another woman until the next day.
