It has been three day's since The Doctor's arrival and the investigation restarting and to be completely honest I have been doing everything possible to avoid The Doctor. I was currently sitting with BB on a couch discussing whether or not I should tell The Doctor who I am. I was scared because even though I was biologically pure Time-Lord since my introduction into this universe. I was still raised by humans and was much like Jenny in the sense that I was only an echo of a true Time-Lord.
Jack and BB had agreed to be back-up in case we need someone to continue investigating if we die. Jack was reluctant but agreed. BB barely even cared whether he helped or not.
"I'm scared, Beyond. What if he hates me when he finds out. I mean he was so happy when he saw me. I don't think I can break his hearts like that." I whispered softly. BB looked thoughtful as he played with a random Rubix Cube.
"Well, you did say you were most likely classified as a Time-Tot. Why don't you simply say your parents brought you here before the Time War got really bad?" Beyond offered. I shook my head slightly.
"That won't work, but I suppose it's the best solution for now. I will think of a better story later." I muttered. I glanced at the clock. The meeting was starting in a few hours. The Doctor had agreed to be L's stand-in while the T.A.R.D.I.S slowly brought L safely out of his coma. I was terrified of working with The Doctor even more so because it was his tenth regeneration and he could be very cold and unforgiving in this incarnation. I shivered as I remembered what he did in the episodes Family Of Blood and Human Nature.
TIME SKIP
As the Task-Force entered I quickly spotted The Doctor and shuffled nervously from where I was sitting. I felt the beginnings of a panic attack and focused on my breathing. The Doctor was clearly trying to gain my attention but I just ignored him the best I could.
"Tsuki, Doctor, something seems to be happening on Sakura TV." Watari said his eyes focused directly on me. I cringed as I realized that I had yet to tell anyone about my Tenshi identity. We had agreed I would tell everyone once L was awake but Watari was still distrustful of me.
"Alright, turn on the T.V. Watari." The Doctor said as he turned to look at the computer television screens. I got up and stood next to him as the Task-Force listened and watched carefully.
"In other words, all of our reporters and staff here are Kira's hostages. Aside from that, we have a professional obligation to share this message with you. I assure you that this is not a hoax and that Sakura TV is not airing this tape for the purposes of sensationalism." A reporter said with a shaky voice as he read the script.
"Kira's hostages?" Aizawa asked in surprise.
"What is this!?" Matsuda asked in horror
"Four days ago, our program director here at Sakura TV received four tapes. After a thorough examination, there could be no doubt that they were from Kira himself." The reporter continued." The first tape we received contained a prediction regarding the time of deaths of two suspected criminals who'd recently been arrested. And as predicted, at the exact time that Kira had specified, both men died suddenly of heart attacks yesterday."
"If what they're saying is true, it's clearly something that only Kira could do." I said taking L's line.
"Kira has instructed us to air this second tape today at exactly 5:59 p.m., and we do intend to comply with his demands. This tape should offer proof of his powers by predicting yet another death. Beyond that, we understand that it contains a message to all the people of the world from Kira." The reporter stated before setting the papers down.
"This has to be another fake, don't you think?" Aizawa offered hopefully.
"I doubt it. I'm pretty sure even Sakura TV wouldn't stoop that low." Matsuda muttered shaking his head.
