I groaned in pain as I woke up before looking around what looked like a bedroom.' Where am I? Who am I?' I thought before spotting a man staring at me in shock. I quickly got up and backed away from the man's fear rising in me.' Do I know him? If I do then why don't I remember?' I thought as I tried to remember anything I could.
"W-who are you?" I asked shakily. That seemed to snap the man out of whatever thought he was thinking of. I watched warily as the man stepped forward but relaxed when I noticed he was only picking up an odd Fob-Watch.
"I'm Harold Saxon, and your my daughter. Your name is Tsuki Saxon." The man now known as my Father said. I blinked in surprise before calming down.
"Why don't I remember who I am?" I asked quietly. Father sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose with an expression of frustration before taking a deep breath.
"You have suffered from Amnesia. It could last anywhere from a few minutes to years. You might even never remember." Father said. I narrowed my eyes as I got the distinct feeling that Father was not telling me everything. Father walked up and handed me the Fob-Watch. I looked at the device curiously.
"Why are you handing me a watch?" I asked looking from the Fob-Watch to Father and back again.
"This watch is....important to you, and while you may not remember how important just know that you would do anything to keep that watch safe," Father said eyeing me seriously.
"But, it's just a silly Fob-Watch. Why would I care about something like a broken watch?" I asked in confusion. Father looked like he wanted to leave the discussion but decided to just continue.
"The watch belonged to you Dad," Father said softly. I tilted my head looking at Father carefully.
"I thought you were my Father," I said not understanding what was going on. Father turned and began pacing the length of the room clearly agitated.
"I am....kinda.....you see I am your Father, but I was in a relationship with another man named John Smith and he sorta became you Dad. We are not together anymore but you loved him so you kept his watch." Father said finally stopping his pacing and turning to look at me.
"Oh, I understand Father," I whispered looking down at the Fob-Watch with awe knowing it belonged to another member of my family. I wondered what they were like. Was my Dad kind or mean? Was he smart or kinda dumb? Did he love me or regret me? Why wasn't he in my life now? All these questions were swimming in my head and I didn't have any of the answers.
"Um...well I am going to make us lunch and we will continue to move. After all, we were moving homes before you collapsed with memory loss," Father said awkwardly before leaving the room.

After we moved into a small apartment I went into my room to set up my things and noticed that I had several books and pictures of animals in all of my boxes. Father had been keeping his distance from me unless necessary but when he did talk to me it was tense as if he was holding back what he really wanted to say.
I learned that Father and I had apparently been investigating the Kira case from the shadows to find proof of the already known identity of Kira or Light as Father had said. It was weird not remembering anything and I was constantly getting frustrated at myself for not remembering anything useful during the case.
"Tsuki? Time for a break, you have been at that for over 14 hours." Father said as he walked into the room. I looked over and noticed that Father was rubbing his temples as if he had a splitting headache.
"Are you alright Father?" I asked softly. Father blinked and nodded before grimacing slightly.
"You should take painkillers if your headache continues like that," I suggested before setting some of the books aside. I could finish up cleaning later.
I got up and walked over to Father and gave him a short hug before walking out of the room and toward the bathroom to take a shower. I was tired and wanted to just climb into bed bit knew that I hadn't been able to shower for the past 48 hours and was probably stinky. I turned the shower knobs and watched as the water began to steam before getting undressed and stepping into the tub.
