Chapter 7: Hasty Decisions

The scent of burning embers became stronger. D squirmed, throwing herself away and into the floor. She clawed the floor as her newest features disappeared into thin air.

"D! Are you ok?" Leo asked.

D's body began to contort like some sort of possession. She groaned in pain, holding her stomach and panting. She reached under the bed.

"I.. I need.... it-" she panted. The rubber object was all the way at the wall. She started crying and shaking.

"I.. can't.. cant reach.." She panted, slamming her fists into the floor. She used her tail to reach the object. Barley reaching it.

"What can't you reach?" Leo asked.

"I kicked it under the bed... it's all the way to the wall.." she panted.

"Oh- OH! Um, I'll roll it to you and get out of your hair or-" Leo began.

D crawled up the bed and onto Leo, fighting herself within. Leo looked up at her nervously. Her eyes contorted from their usual red and blue to blackened, to red, to purple.

"D?" Leo asked.

She kissed Leo deeply, ignoring her inner battle. She moved to Leo's neck, starting to bite into his neck. She licked and bit, trying to hold herself back, yet unable. She began to suck his blood, getting lost in the taste of his oozing red substance. She pulled herself off, throwing herself off of him.

"I can't control myself anymore!" D cried.

Leo sat up and crawled under the bed, grabbing D's 'toy'. He gave her the toy, heading for the door. Leo quickly closed the door, washing his hands in the kitchen. He rushed to the other bathroom, looking at his neck which was still oozing blood. He bandaged himself, holding his head.

"Ace is gonna kill me oh my god.." Leo said while his hands shook.

D was just on the other side of the wall. He could hear her muffled panting.

"I can't just leave her like that.. but I don't want to invade her personal privacy. I don't know what to do..." Leo whispered to himself.

"Leo~" D called. She sounded breathless and desperate.

He held his mouth as he listened closer. Her voice filled the room with a soft muffle because of the wall. D scratched the wall.

"Leoo~" D cried. She scratched at the wall, hoping to catch his attention.

Leo remained quiet.

"She's just in heat don't cave in,She's just in heat don't cave in, She's just in heat don't cave in.." Leo reminded himself.

"I can smell you Leo.. " D wailed.

Leo felt heat rise in his stomach. He swallowed the lump in his throat anxiously. Leo listened as D kept fading in and out of her senses. Crying and then laughing, panting and then breathing fine.

Leo skimmed through all of his articles and sigh.

"L-Leo~ come play with me~" D called.

"Ace will kill me if I do that!" Leo cried.

"He doesn't have to know" D said with a smirk.

Leo got up and gained his composure. He walked from the bathroom and into the living room. Leo walked up to the door and paused. He tried to hold himself back with his better judgement. But nobody has to know..
