Leo watched d carefully, examining her body language. Her hands trembled as she held her face.
"Are you cold? Here." Leo said wrapping D in a blanket. D held her face while blushing immensely.
"What's going on? You're really red.." Leo began.
"I keep thinking about the other night.. I just-" d began. Leo covered his mouth, hiding a smirk.
"It felt so weird.. I mean it wasn't weird but I haven't felt like that.. it was a good feeling! I just.. it's been awhile and even then no one had every really cared like you did about how I felt and if I was ok.. they always just did what they wanted for themselves.." D continued. She held the space over her mouth.
"It was so gentle.. but so rough.. it was so sweet and caring I just-" D began.
Leo smiled and hugged her.
"It's ok to enjoy something.. you don't have to just keep it in.." Leo chuckled.
D covered her face with her hands.
"You just knew what you were doing but you also wanted to make sure I was ok and I'm not used to being taken into consideration.." d sigh.
"Well.. I want you to be apart of my universe. With all the stars in the sky and all the love in my heart I have to give, I want you to know you can talk to me. Don't think for even a second that you can't talk to me." Leo said holding D's freezing hands.
"Same for you Leo.." d said pulling Leo down by the collar of his shirt.
She pecked Leo's lips with her own, smiling a wide grin as he fell on top of her.
"You're such a tease D.. wanna go make some music?" Leo asked.
"Oh.. we need to see when our next show is.." D said forgetting what today was.
"It's Thursday, September 30th." Leo said nervously.
"Oh my goodness! We have a gig at a rock festival tonight and tomorrow.." D began.
"Let's go and practice then.." Leo said walking towards the door. He walked to the rehearsal room and sat down, beginning his warmup.
D began thinking of song lyrics, scribbling faster than her brain could think. Leo tried different beats and tried strumming along on the bass. They completed their half and now needed to teach to others their parts.
Everyone was able to learn the part and hyped it up to hear the lyrics.
She had perfectly composed the piece by that afternoon. And the festival was almost near.
Everyone dressed up in their suits, helping each other with their rockstar makeup. Leo knew that tonight he'd prove himself. To the rest of the band. The pressure was now on.

Leo plucked the strings of his bass. Since Adam was on drums, they needed another bass guitar. He plucked the chords, sitting on his bed.
"I could say a million thing but it would take some time. I could show you my whole heart, but that's not doable. You make me smile, you make me care, you make me want to leap up and sing out loudly.." Leo began.
"No that won't do.. I need something to wow her.. something maybe.." Leo began. He plucked the strings once more to a different tune.
"Maybe I'm overbearing, maybe I can cling. Baby I know you hear me, don't let this be a fling.
I know you don't believe me when I say, hey your gorgeous and by the way.
Let's run along the bay and, I wanna show this whole universe tonight.
Take you to each planet, make you mine and baby can you just take my hand?
We can go to a better land and We can go where there's no one, if you'd feel better about it.
I've been here and I'll be here and we'll both see, now that it's just you and me.
I'll take you anywhere you wanna go and now I know that there's more and more. Show me your heart and let me love you. I guess I always have from the start.." Leo hummed."That's not bad but maybe I should just do a cover because I can't write songs..." Leo whispered to himself, scribbling furiously.
Ace stumbled into Leo's room and eyed him.
"Was that you singing?" He asked.
"Uhhh, Maybe?" Leo said nervously.
"You have a gift! Who's the song for?" He asked jokingly.
"It's for D-" Leo began. Ace chuckled and shook his head.
"I was just kidding around. It's kinda cheesy but it sounds really good.. you're gonna make her really happy with that song. She just got done telling me how much she loves you.. but you have only been dating for a few hours? Is it like a dragon thing?" Ace asked.
"Yeah. Their time is way slower than ours. So while she's know me forever in her mind, I've only known her for about a week." Leo reasoned.
"Well, if you decide to go with the cover. Make sure it's from- fuck what was that one show? With the singing rocks?" Ace asked.
"Are you referring to Steven Universe? The masterpiece cartoon by Rebecca sugar?" Leo asked.
"Yeah. That one. She likes the songs from that show. Her favorite song so far is True kinda love. She made me watch the entire show and then the movie. And it was pretty good considering that it's for kids. " Ace chuckled.
"That's debatable, about the whole 'made for kids' thing. But I'm familiar with the franchise, pun very much intended." Leo chuckled.
"You're killing me Leo.. anyway, I'm gonna get out of your hair. I'll fill you in on anything else she says.." Ace chuckled.

The show was almost ready to be put on. The band before Leo and the others was an alternative rock band. They did a cover of Evil Angel by Breaking Benjamin.
Leo noticed how D shook.. the others huddled around her.
"What is it? Are you ok?" Leo asked.
"What if they don't like my song?" D asked.
"To hell with them. You write good music and anyone who wants to debate that can fist fight me." Leo said cracking his knuckles.
"Should we just do a cover of the nightmare before Christmas? This is a festival to kickoff October.." d began.
"No, we are doing that song of yours you worked so hard to write. Stop worrying, everyone will love it.." Ace explained.
"Next up we have The Deviants! Rocking out to a song called Spooky Scary Scenic Road!" The announcer screamed.
