"Hi everyone, if you're ready to rock.. Lemme hear some noise!" D cheered. The crowd roared with applause and screaming.
Leo kept plucking his strings, watching D as her legs shook profusely. The part in the song came up where she had her solo. D shred her guitar and screamed into the microphone.
"THAT ROAD WILL TAKE YOU DOWN TO HELL AND DEVOUR YOUR SOULD FOR ALL TO TELL! DANCING WITHT THE DEVIL AINT AS BAD AS IT SEEMS, AND NOW WERE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS!" She wailed into the microphone. Adam started drumming harder as Leo had his part come up.
"FOLLOW MY ROAD AND WE WILL MEET, ILL TAKE YOUR HANDS AND THEN YOUR FEET! DEVOUR YOU TIL THERES NOTHING LEFT AND SPIT BACK OUT THE LIVING DEAD-" Leo screamed. He shred the last chords and continued the part.
"ONCE DEVOURED I'LL GET YOUR SOUL AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO TAKE IT WHOLE. YOU SPEND THE REST OF YOUR ETERNAL CAREER WITH ME!" Leo shouted. The crowd cheered loudly, making d smile.
"They liked my song!" D cheered happily.
"Last call for the talent show, only a few spots left ladies and gents.." the loudspeaker announced.
"I'll be back guys.. I'm gonna go win that prize. I know they have one.." Leo said taking off with his guitar. He signed himself up and quickly rushed back to D.. he would be on for another while..
He opened the door to D's dressing room, she sat on the couch and sprawled out. Her jacket was in the floor and her body was covered in sweat.
"I want you to listen to the song at the show tonight.. ok?" Leo began.
"Of course.. why wouldn't I?" D asked.
"Just, listen closely. And stand up front if you can.." Leo said smiling, he knelt beside her worried for her.
"You need some water?" Leo asked.
"Yeah.. that show was quite the workout.." d sigh.
Leo got her a water bottle and opened it for her, watching her gulp it down quickly.
"I have two options in my head. Do you want to hear a cover, or a song I wrote? The one I wrote is kinda cheesy. But I think you might like it.." Leo explained.
"I wanna hear your song.." d said smiling a huge grin.
Leo smiled.
"You did good out there tonight.." Leo complimented. D began washing off her makeup in the sink, she dried her face and smiled.
"Wanna help me do my makeup a bit different for the next show of mine?" Leo asked.
"Sure. But I'm not too good at it.." d began.
"I have faith in you.." Leo said smiling softly.
D put makeup on him and fixed his hair, making him look like a real rockstar.
He heard his name called and jumped.
"Grab on and I'll run us over there.." Leo began. D grabbed Leo's hand and the sprinted to the stage again, d hopped into the first class section, watching Leo strum his guitar.
"I could say a million thing but it would take some time. I could show you my whole heart, but that's not doable. You make me smile, you make me care, you make me want to leap up and sing out loudly.." Leo began.
"No that won't do.. I need something to wow her.. something maybe.." Leo began. He plucked the strings once more to a different tune.
"Maybe I'm overbearing, maybe I can cling. Baby I know you hear me, don't let this be a fling. I know you don't believe me when I say, hey your gorgeous and by the way. Let's run along the bay and, I wanna show this whole universe tonight. Take you to each planet, make you mine and baby can you just take my hand? We can go to a better land and We can go where there's no one, if you'd feel better about it. I've been here and I'll be here and we'll both see, now that it's just you and me. I'll take you anywhere you wanna go and now I know that there's more and more. Show me your heart and let me love you. I guess I always have from the start.. I wanna go make sure you have the love you need, oh baby I love you and your the only one for me.." Leo sang out.
D smiled as tears flooded her face, smiling as the show came to completion.
The crowd cheered for Leo making him smile a wide grin. Leo watched D as she smiled and rushed to the side of the stage. She met Leo halfway up the stairs and Leo spun her around. He smiled softly as she kissed his lips.

Leo set D down and smiled as she grabbed his hand. The crowd in front of them sat and the hype man walked out on stage.
"Alright everyone! Those were some really good acts. But we need your votes. Everyone scan this QR code and we will announce the winners tomorrow!" He announced.
"That last act was probably my favorite, but y'all make sure to vote cause if you don't then these lovely competitors need to know who gets the $30,000 prize." He explained.
Everyone in the crowd reached for their phones and began scanning and voting, but Leo and D were headed back to the dressing rooms.
D held Leo's hand tighter.
"I really liked your song.. it was really good. I can tell you poured your heart into it she complimented.
"Well.. even if I don't win. You're all I need.. I don't need money or a legacy when you are the only thing that makes me happy.." Leo explained as the two neared D's dressing room. They both walked into the dressing room and D locked the door behind her.
"What's all this abo-" Leo was cut off by D kissing him tenderly. He held onto D's waist, slowly twisting his head to deepen their kiss. She sat Leo down and continued her work, not yet ready to finish.
There was a knock on her door, a loud one too. D and Leo's eyes both shot open and looked up towards the door and shrugged.
They went back to their kiss as another knock interrupted them.
"Who is it?" D asked.
"It's Daniel.. me and the others are ready to go. Where's Leo?" He asked.
"Leo's in here.. he's helping me pack my stuff up.." d said running to the door. Leo made himself look like he was busy, neatly folding D's stage clothes and putting them in her bag.
D opened the door and the others walked in, closing the door behind them.
"Let's go home guys.. I'm beat." Ace sigh.
"Yeah. I'm gonna sleep like a rock." Adam joked.
"Nice pun.." Daniel said with a chuckle.
They all stepped through the rift and without a second more the others went into their rooms. D followed Leo into his and turned on the tv so the others couldn't hear their conversation.
